Good morning everyone, I'm making the most of another lovely morning because tomorrow the rain starts again in earnest.

Well done Summer that pancake party sounds lovely.  I just caught the end of The One Show yesterday and it must have been Julie Walters birthday and they presented her with a pancake cake!

I hope it's a lovely sunshiney PB day whatever the weather brings PB will bring the sunshine with her

Enjoy your day everyone, off to get new tyres and windscreen wipers

Summer, I think the fact that the magistrates decided to send the man for trial suggests that if found guilty he could be looking at a prison sentence. Presumably he's charged with dangerous driving rather then just speeding.

The One Show didn't go into any details about the pancake cake, It was brought on right at the end and we didn't get to see it being cut,

I'm glad you found clarification El I'm sure your client will appreciate knowing where he stands

Where's Moonie lately?

Hi Summer.

I don't know where Moonie is. Perhaps he's having a break?

Velvet has been missing for a while now too.

Hi Velvet.

I'm glad all is well and you've been out and about with your sis. Belated Happy Birthday to your sis and the same to your mum next week.

Good morning everyone.

Weather is dry with grey sky and quite windy.

Grocery shopping today. I'm not responsible, if some cakes jump into my trolley when I'm not looking.

A little PB story for you.

When I was reading Fireman Sam stories, for the twentieth time yesterday, I stopped reading the whole story and gave the potted version. PB gave me a look which said 'I know what you're doing', pointed to the words and said, "Granny! Read it!!". Only 22 months old and nobody is going to pull the wool over her eyes.

Have a good day everyone.

Yogi, those jumping cakes are a hazard . at PB catching you out.

lol Yes, there should be warning signs about those jumping cakes, El.

PB is a clever cookie!

Good morning everyone, rain rain rain but it's still looking very pretty outside my window and I know that spring is just around the corner.

I too fell victim to the jumping cakes in M&S whilst getting new tyres and wipers, lemon muffins and chocolate eclairs, they are such sneaky things aren't they?

Enjoy your breakfast with your sister Skylark and watch out for those cakes, hi velvet I hope moonie is back soon as well.

Enjoy your day everyone

I see today that the stretch of the A40 between Gloucester and Cheltenham I mentioned yesterday is being resurfaced over the next 2 weeks. They are doing it overnight rather than the daytime. It's time they did this as the condition of the road has deteriorated considerably and has potholes in places. Not good for vehicles on a 70 mph bypass.

Back from my bit of a day out, got caught in the rain, now its stopped and the sun is shining. Typical!
Talking of roadworks, near me at the main road, its chaos. Roadworks estimated for 15 weeks. Traffic/buses re -routed and diversions everywhere. Not exactly sure what the roadworks are for, and nobody else seems to know either

Is it me or is there a Graemlin waving at me upside down ??

The road should be a lot better and safer once they've finished.

15 weeks is a long time - especially when nobody knows why or what's being done!

lol I can't see an upside down waving Graemlin!

I thought that would be a puzzle for you all I'd already used the waving smiley so I thought I would go looking for an alternative.

Road works are a nightmare round here too, everywhere you go.  The main road through a village near me has been closed for about 6 months, luckily you can use an alternative small road running behind it.  I wondered for ages what they were doing but just found out they are sinking two huge tanks for when there's a lot of rain, instead of allowing this potentially dirty water to foul the beach.
