night yogi
Good morning everyone.
Weather looks rather damp today.
Last wardrobe to clear, then a trip to the tip!
Have a good day everyone,
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here and a bit mirky.
No silent phone calls overnight so a better night's sleep
Yogi, let us know if you find a lamp post at the back of your wardrobe

I will do, El.
I'm glad you didn't get any more calls last night. I hope you slept well.
Good morning everyone, the heaviest frost of the winter this morning, at first glance I thought it was snow.
I am glad there were no more silent phone calls EL and that you were able to have a good night's sleep.
Enjoy your day everyone
Summer, I hope your spring clean goes well
Squiggle, there's zero sign of any frost in my area. Saturday morning was very frosty.
Good morning Buddies
Yogi, very sorry I disappeared last night with answering your posts
Something came up that needed me to be elsewhere. So once again sorry
Its flippin cold here and I have to venture out later too
Hope everyone has a good day
No problem, Moonie.
My wardrobe clear out is complete!! Haven't been to the tip yet - might wait until tomorrow.
Good luck with your cleaning, Summer.

*coughs* did you get rid of that pink mini skirt though Yogi? *coughs*
For some reason when I saw reference to a pink mini skirt this image came to mind, not that it looke remotely like Yogi.

I do have a denim mini skirt that Mr Yogi refuses to let me throw out!
I hope he isn't expecting me to fit into it - or he's going to be seriously disappointed!!

Yes it did it disappeared though pretty quickly thank goodness. That's very sweet that Mr Yogi won't let you chuck out the mini skirt I hope the oven cleaning goes smoothly.
I had a letter from my brother this morning. He mentioned that he had been getting rather dodgy broadband connections for the last week. He's with plusnet. I had a look at they had some problems at the end of January. Although they were sorted out, some people have continued to have problems. Plusnet say they should recoonect their router and provided a link for that. I've let my brother know and when he gets back home he'll do that.
I hope your brother manages to get his broadband sorted quickly, we all need that internet access more and more, we are lost without it.
I hope you manage to get all your running around done and can get home in the warm moonie.
I have been for my diabetic eye test, all seems well as far as he could tell, my eyesight is still very blurry now, but hopefully it will clear up within the next couple of hours as my pupils get back to normal.
Squiggle, thanks My brother did say that the broadband connection had been better yesterday evening. He had been able to be connected but the speed previous to yesterday was down to under 0.2.
I'm glad your eye test went well and your sight should be back to normal quickly
*decides not to clear my house as I would not be seen again*
Well done to Yogi and Sweet
Back in the warm now
Off to clean my oven, will be back later.
*passes flamethrower*
Not that I'm saying your oven is very dirty Yogi
*stops digging hole*

It wasn't that bad, Moonie.
Well done, Summer. I agree, it's very satisfying when it's all done.

Was it a handwritten letter, El?
I can't remember the last time someone sent me a handwritten letter.
Squiggle, I'm glad the sight test went well.
Yogi, no, my brother prints out his letters. He's done that for many many years as he thinks his handwriting isn't very legible.
Many years ago, some time in the 1980s, I found an Atari magazine with a type in lising for a word processor program. I typed it in, took a long time as it was a long program, and gave it to my brother as a present. He used it for some years to type letters to people.
It may have been the one in this old computer magazine - the article starts on page 56.

How the computer world has changed since - computer magazines with listings to type in were very popular then. Not now.

My sons' first computer was an Atari.
Oh no Summer, I hope the repair can be done quickly and isn't costly.

Just mark it 'Yogi in Scotland'.
I did get a short program I wrote published in an Atari magazine. It was back in late 1989. I still have the magazine and I could type the program out here but it would be rather pointless unless you had an Atari ST computer In those days, quite a few program listings had rows of hexadecimal digits to type in. That's the digits 0 to 9, A,(=10) B, C, D, E, and F (=15). My program converted the numeric keyboard so that you could type the A to F on that as well as the ordinary number keys. The numeric keyboard was a bit different to the pc keyboard layout so that there were two keys where the plus key is. So I had at the top A, B, C, D, then going down on the right E and F before the Enter key.

Where is the "totally baffled" smiley when I need it?!
Well done on getting your program published, El.
