Good morning everyone.

Weather is still the same i.e. snow is lying and it's hard and icy now.

It feels very chilly! Brrr!

Nothing beats a good laugh for raising the spirits, I'm glad you had such a good evening, Summer.

Is your brother going back home today or tomorrow, El?

Youngest son is coming for tea today. His GF might be coming, it all depends on whether the new kitten they got yesterday has settled in! Macy wasn't too happy with him, she was acting like a jealous sibling when the new baby arrives! Actually, they are siblings as they share the same mum, and they look very alike.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, a really icy wind here and I am staying put as I suspect the roads will be icy in the village and I'm not prepared to risk driving.  I hope everyone can stay warm and cosy today.

That sounds like a lovely night out Summer, I like your morning picture too.  I hope you have a lovely meal with your youngest son Yogi.  EL I hope your weekend is going well.

Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning everyone

Cloudy and cold here but little in the way of frost. Looks as if it may stay on the cold side in the south not not necessarily quite as cold for the next month. It all depends on the gulf stream which is in one of those locked states where the weather remains much the same until it moves. The north may be a bit milder than at present.

Yes please do I've had to change a diabetic eye test that I was due to attend this morning to next week in the afternoon as I am a little worried that there might be ice on the only road out of the village - they are doing some sort of road repairs on the only other option that I would normally use if the other road is icy.

Enjoy your day everyone

Squiggle, that's sensible of you.  Afternoon temperatures should be higher than first thing in the morning so less risk of ice.

There's no snow at low levels in my area bur when I and my brother went shopping at M&S in Cheltenham on Saturday we could see snow on Cleeve Hill to the north of Cheltenham (not surprising as that's the highest part of the Cotswolds).

Still have snow lying and compacted ice lying around so take care ye all if you're out in it.

Afternoon Velvet.  Conditions are very similar in my neck of the woods.

Squiggle, I think you were sensible to reschedule your appontment.

*night owls* evening all, I hope you've all been warm & safe today. It's been very cold here but dry & bright. Work was busy, I walked the dogs after and then cooked a meal this evening, before washing my hair and finally arriving here to say hello!

I say "dogs" because we've got a temporary house guests while her humans are on holiday, Bramble is most put out by it bless her.

I must remember not to park my unicycle in that space

Oh yes, she's very unimpressed. They get on fine and even sleep on the same bed but she refuses to engage in play and looks disgusted when I interact with the other dog. I'm surprised, i expected her to enjoy the canine company

Stuck as in 'bored' but I had to see it through till the end.

I think it's more that she is jealous that another dog is taking your attention.

Aww, she's not aggressive, just had her nose knocked out of joint.

I haven't watched The Jump - are you enjoying it?

I'm going to get off and catch up on Silent Witness.

Goodnight and sweet dreams.

night owl hugs for Velvet and Ros.
