I've got to dash to the dentist shortly, I've just had a chunk of tooth come out luckily my dentist could fit me in today and someone can cover for me at work- phew!

Squiggle, I hope you have a good time at the House group and that you manage to miss the showers. There are hefty showers here but I managed to miss them when I went to see a client this morning. One minute there's blue sky, the next minute it's pouring.

 

Summer, I'm sorry to see you've had a chuck of tooth come out but it's good that you can see your dentist at short notice.

Oh no! Lucky the dentist could fit you in. I hope s/he manages to sort it for you.

I think she likes the story almost as much as she likes eating them.

 

I've decided to brave the weather and go to the tip with some of the bin bags of rubbish I took from the cupboard - they are cluttering up the garage atm.

Then I need to go to the bank and meet hubby at Morrisons. Fingers crossed I don't get blown away! See you later.

I'm back! I've been very lucky indeed to get straight in, it's got a temporary filling and will be repaired in a couple of weeks I felt a sharp pain when I bit into something at christmas but thought no more of it until today, that must be what has caused the tooth to crack.

Yogi good luck out there, it's getting stronger here so I hope yours isn't. I wonder if you'll come back with a gingerbread man

Summer, I'm glad they've been able to give him a temporary filling  Just make sure you don't eat things like toffee until the permanent one is done.

I had the 4th of the new balanced for you meala from M&S at lunch. Pot roast chicken (in a rich pan gravy with herb roasted potatoes, carrots and seasonal greens. Pleasant though the gravy was thin and you'll either resort to bread to absorb it or land up by drinking it from the plate

I like my gravy very thin

I don't have the means to show the view from my window. It's very dark sky but to the west it's a lot brighter. The effect is that it looks more like dawn than dusk

Do you use a straw

That's very like it, El. I saw it in my garden centre but that looks very similar.

Weather here is on the cool side, less windy than it has been, nothing much in the way of rain expected. There mat be some snow in my area tomorrow morning.

It's been snowing up here. It's lying on the ground - only an inch or two atm.

Supposed to be going to get my hair cut this afternoon, but it'll depend if we get more snow.

Edit: looked out of the window and there's less snow than I said. It looked more when I got up and it was really dark outside.

I'm not surprised! My initial reaction was "Eww!".

 It might be a while before I look like Rapunzel but it's certainly in need of a cut.
