Hi Velvet. Which printer have you chosen this time? We are useless with printers. We print stuff so rarely that the ink is dried up by the time we want to use it.

I hope your sister takes it easy, if she does decide to drive to the airport.

The only piece of equipment I am any use with, is a dvd player. The rest baffles me!

That reminds me of something that happened at the weekend. My Yogi bought a trolley jack and it arrived on Saturday. He and two of our sons couldn't get it to work. I looked at the instructions and had it working in a couple of minutes. They have made a pact to deny that it ever happened.

Evening I've just caught up- looks like I missed lots of fun in here today!

Uh oh yogi do you owe Mr Y an apology..? Lol maybe it was him who put them in the back of the cupboard though...
Just how big is this cupboard btw?! It sounds like something from narnia

Squiggle I bet your ear will feel so much better after getting it syringed. I'm quite a waxy person and have had Hopi ear candle treatments before

El, I'm now very hungry and would love a corn on the cob!

Velvet I hope your new printer is a good one

Yes, I did owe him a big apology - he accepted it very well.

Hope you've had a good day well done on tackling the cupboard

No problem Summer. I hope everything went off okay today and Mr Summer's head doesn't hurt too much tomorrow.

Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone. Hugs for the night owls.

Good morning everyone

A bit of snow on the ground here but nothing disruptive. Blue sky at present but forecast to get a bit milder and wetter.

Looks as if the weather will be getting really wintery by next week with snow and freezing temperatures.

Summer, I hope Mr Summer has recovered and the various people coming to you today aren't disrupted by the weather.

Yogi, I'm glad you survived

El Loro

Good morning everyone.

We've got snow!

Yes El, I survived.

No Summer, I nodded off for twenty minutes then woke up again. Came on the forum for a quick read and it made my blood boil, so I signed in again.

PB day, car being delivered, courtesy car being picked up and waiting for a delivery from Amazon which needs to be signed for - all between the hours of 9-6 - and it's one of my DiL's birthday and I need to try to pop over for a visit. Busy day, but I'll pop in here when I can.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning everyone, a few little patches of snow here and there but quite good weather, by which I mean it isn't actually raining at the moment, I will enjoy it while it lasts which won't be long

My goodness Summer and Yogi I feel quite dizzy reading about your busy days - I just hope you don't get muddled Summer and the grocery delivery guy doesn't end up reading your meter or servicing your boiler Well done on clearing out your cavernous walk-in cupboard Yogi, I see what you mean about a search party, you made me laugh last night you were like the cuckoo in my clock   I hope Mr Summer is not feeling the worse for wear this morning.

Enjoy your day everyone, I am intending to do as little as possible

I had two to catch up on today Summer and I have found it unbelievable - Nadia in particular.  It's almost like comedy so I am continuing on that basis Carry On CBB One more to go.

I had to do my car mats today as I took the car through the car wash yesterday.  I thought I won't bother with the hoover and took out a large and small bristle brush - wow so much better to do it that way, the mats and floor are now spotless, I guess sometimes the old technology is better.

I am glad that Mr Summer is feeling OK this morning and it sounds like you have had a very good day.  How do your at home facial - I was thinking about maybe doing a face mask looking at my poor old winter weary face this morning.  I have some Kaeso products.

Skylark, I think we are all in for the big freeze. By next Tuesday heavy snow is forecast for my area and the forecast temperatures from then on are such that the snow won't melt for several days.

My M&S meal today was smoked fish kedgeree with lightly spiced basmati rice (no warnings re spice as is very mild). Very nice, and my favourite of the 3 I've tried this week. They use pangasius fish and in this meal it tastes much the same as smoked haddock.

I hadn't thought of brushing my car mats I think that would work so much better, I'm trying it next time!

I was totally amazed by how easy it was, I brushed all the loose stuff into the side and then swooshed it over the edge - I did look at the car hoover thing at the garage but they know how to charge for that thing, this was much easier.  I'm a fan of Simple products too as I have sensitive skin too.  I find at this time of year my face has a tired look to it, and a little pampering brings a nice healthy glow to it.

El, think yourself lucky , back in the day face masks used to set like concrete!  When i lived in the nurses home, pubs shut at ten, by the time we took them off at 9.45 we galloped to the pub for 15 mins, looking pretty as pictures ! I had the bottom room, so ,lots of climbing in and out after 10... a bottle of wine with ten or so people , whispering, in case matron caught us . Aw happy days  Well looking back now, but at the time we loathed that evil woman . Not many like her now, pity really, the NHS may be in a better state with folk like her ........

Anyway, weather not getting warmer here, trying not to put the heating on, it dries me up and starts me sneezing . Granddaughter not here just now, so not needed.

I agree about the NHS being better with matrons.

*night owls*

There's plenty of man-masks available these days El if you wanted to try one, men are pampering themselves more these days, especially those living in city's and having busy careers.
Mr summer once let me manicure him, and he enjoyed it

Yogi I hope you had a lovely PB day and that you get plenty of sleep tonight

Skylark I hope you have a snuffle free night, and thats not too windy to open your window

Leaving goodnight wishes and cute baby owl hugs for everyone

~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone.

Weather is very windy and wet. Roll on Spring!!

Summer, the fluffy owls are so cute.

I did have a lovely PB day, thank you. When I was clearing out the walk-in cupboard, I came across a box of books I had kept from the boys' childhood. I had rescued them when Mr Yogi was doing his loft clearance and put them in the cupboard and forgotten about them.

Ever since we made gingerbread men at Christmas (which PB ate!) she loves Gingerbread Men, and we found a Gingerbread Man book in the cupboard and she loves it. At least it makes a change from The Billy Goats Gruff.

Have a good day everyone.

Yogi19

Good morning everyone, the weather is the same as normal, wet and windy.  We'll all end up with webbed feet at this rate.

What a lovely find in the cupboard Yogi, some happy days ahead.  Oh yes Billy Goats Gruff, many an hour spent in my life reading that first to my daughter and then to my grandsons, voices and all.

Yes EL, my hubby would have had exactly the same reaction to the thought of a man mask

House group starts again today so the ladies and I will be dodging the showers again.

Enjoy your day everyone,   Cute owls Summer I wonder what sort they are.
