I might try that EL, thanks.
Curry must be the theme of the day because Mr summer texted me at work today asking if I'd like to go out for an Indian tonight
Squiggle, I too enjoy pasta. I like tomato & basil sauce with mine
It's been snowing here today, I've enjoyed the flurries
I hope you're all keeping warm & dry, will pop back later
Evening all.
Visitors have all gone now.
Before my sons arrived, a neighbour's (adult) son offered to fix the slates on my roof. He used to go up onto rooves as part of his old job and has put slates back for us before - Mr Yogi held the ladders. All sorted now.
Squiggle, I love the smiley with the umbrella.

Youngest son and his GF are going out for a curry tonight.
We've had a few snow showers too - and hailstones.
Evening Velvet.
Thank goodness for central heating, it's freezing outside.
Enjoy Spiral - it's one I've never watched.
Yogi, I'm glad your neighbour's son has sorted out the slates on your roof
A bit of a coincidence with Summer and Yogi's youngest son going out for curries tonight
Very bad result for Cheltenham Town today losing to the bottom club Hartlepool. Cheltenham have only won one match in their last 10 games, a few draws but mostly losses. They've already replaced the manager, not that that's had any effect, and the loss today will make morale even worse than it has been.

Summer, I hope you've had a good night and enjoyed your curry.
Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.
Hugs for the night owls.
night yogienjoying CBB-feels more like the C4 ones ATMsummer if you pop in
Curry was delicious, I could eat it all again!
Good morning everyone.
We've had a little bit of snow overnight and it's still quite windy.
lol Summer, the curry must have been tasty if you wanted to eat it all again.
Ros, I agree, it was more like Ch4 CBB last night.
Looking forward to PB's arrival, but wish the weather was better so we could get out and about.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Clouds and blue sky here.
Summer, sounds as if you will be going back there soon for another curry
Yogi, I hope you have a good day with PB even with the poor weather
Good morning everyone, cloudy but dry - so far - here. I hope that you have a great day with PB Yogi, even with a little snow, I am sure there is plenty of fun to be had.
For some reason my series link failed - I had a lot to record so it's possible that in the muddle of trying to make sure there were no clashes I deleted it so I had to record it on 5+24 so have a lot to catch up on today.
Enjoy your day everyone
I'm bacl from church. I also went to collect some of the church magaxine subscriptions for my round for 2015 and am now warming up as the wind is making it feel somewhat cold.
I hope you're all keeping warm and dry.
I slept in very late this morning, must have needed it.
Then, called sky to report the planner as broken. The troubleshooting steps to repair it failed so I agreed to completely reset it, which meant losing everything on it. I followed those Instructions and by some miracle my planner reappeared with everything still on it! even the chap on the phone couldn't believe it, we had a good laugh about it after
Thank goodness you managed to save it Summer. It's a nightmare when the box has to be replaced and you lose all your saved programmes. Similarly I have recently had a good look at what I watch and changed to a basic package + the movie channel as I don't watch the others much. I only had one taped on one of the channels that were going to disappear, Ice Road Truckers, which I was able to watch in time.
Yes there's a series running at the moment. It's quite interesting because The Polar Bear, Hugh, has set up a rival company to Polar and they are both trying to put each other out of business. I had recorded the one on History and thought the one on C5 would be the same but it was a year behind so I recorded both.
Summer, congratulations on your new job as a Sky repair person
I've only seen snippets of Ice Truckers but from what I've seen it's quite good.
If you don't already know Call the Midwife returns next Sunday.
2 new regulars:
A new nurse Barbara Gilbert played by Charlotte Richie (on the left) starts on Sunday and later in the series Nurse Phyllis Crane (on the right) joins. She's played by Linda Bassett. You'll remember her as Queenie Turrill in Larkrise to Candleford.
Evening Buddies
I hope you are all having a good day no matter what the weather is bringing you
Its flippin cold here
*pulls duvet up*
Thanks El sweet Sky engineer has a ring to it doesn't it lol
Squiggle, did the girl driver who left, come back in to the series? I can't think of her name at the mo
Moonie, I hope you are nice and cosy now.
Yay, that you didn't lose your programmes, Summer.
We had a lovely day with PB. She is such a sweet natured and happy child, and she has Granny and Grandad wrapped around her little finger.

Woohoo, I can't wait! I love Call The Midwife - thanks for the reminder, El.
I know I'm slightly biased, but she is a wee gem.
Goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer. I'm going to sign out now too.
Leaving hugs for the night owls.
Nite nite Sweet and Yogi, sleep well and have sweet dreams both. Glad you had a great time with PB Yogi

yes love this programme squiggle and summer - its brill
night yogi summer and moons
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy and windy here, and forecast to rain.
Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with PB
I do love Monday mornings, it's that fresh hope a new week brings
Yogi, sorry I couldn't keep my eyes open last night. How is PB and what is she up to now?
Good morning everyone.
Weather is very wet and very windy. I'm sick of it tbh, I want some nice petty, frosty mornings instead.
Over the last week, PB has finally mastered the the names (or her version of the names) of all her family members. Mr Yogi is soooo chuffed that he is now, "Ganda" lol, and Keira is no longer "Bubba". However, she has decided, out of sheer devilment, to call her mum by her Christian name instead of Mummy, and wound up her grandad no end. They had a fake argument of "Mummy" V "*******" which went on for ages - and grandad gave up first. She has a wicked sense of humour and the most infectious giggle.
I'm hoping for news that my car is finally sorted and hope to have it back by tomorrow. I'm expecting an update by noon today. *fingers crossed*
Have a good day everyone.
Summer and Yogi, I think we are all a bit fed up with the wind. It's not as strong here as it has been up north. People have been putting out their recycling boxes and food caddies for collection today and the wind is blowing lids off into the road. Although one can lock the lid on the food caddy, a neighbour opposite didn't with the result that there is a small pile of food waste on the pavement.
Forecast is to get colder and it could snow anywhere in the country over the next few days (though in the south more on higher ground).
Yogi, I'm glad your car should soon be back with you
Good morning everyone, yes it's wet and windy here - again
PB sounds an absolutely gorgeous little sweetheart and I can see she brings great joy into all your lives
I am glad you like Ice Road Truckers too Ros, yes Summer Lisa is firmly back in the driving seat and is in both series I have watched this year. She is still driving for Polar at the moment but is considering an offer to drive for the new firm.
You are such a lovely optimist Summer, I love someone who could love Monday mornings
Enjoy your day everyone
PS Meant to say Yogi, I am so pleased that you getting your car back is just around the corner
Haha yogi how cute, and I think PB knows her own mind already
Squiggle, I'm glad lisa is back because she vanished with explanation, I had noticed her dramatic weight loss beforehand and did wonder if that was anything to do with it. I hope she's ok now
She seems fine Summer, she broke her wrist though quad biking back home which gives her a bit of gyp changing gears sometimes, she's quite a girl isn't she. Worth watching on catch up, this was a good episode http://www.channel5.com/shows/.../episodes/load-rules
Squiggle, a PB Day is a happy day, and I agree with you about Summer's optimistic outlook on life.
Still no word from the insurance repairer. I hope they get a move on!
Update: they are waiting on a part and I'll get another update after 4pm today.
I hope Skylark's son has a very special happy birthday today
Indeed! Happy 21st Birthday to Skylark's son.
I hope your son has a great birthday Skylark
To safeguard the future of chocolate a new faciility was recently opened at the International Cocoa Quarantine Centre. It stores about 400 types of plant, and monitors them before distribution to 20 countries around the world to be grown and harvested.
And where is this facility - it's here in the UK at Reading.
