Goodnight hugs for all where's the week gone to?!
night yogi summer moons
Good morning everyone.
Weather is cold and there has been a little frost overnight. At least the wind seems to have died down.
Moonie, good to see you back! I hope your health issues get resolved quickly and you are soon back with us.
Summer, my avi is the one Scotty made for me last year, and has Keira framed in a Christmas wreath. I saved it to my laptop so that I can use it every year.
Still coughing and nose is still running but I think the worst of my cold may be over. Not sure how long before my nose returns to its normal colour!
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Very cloudy here, not raining and not particularly windy.
Take care, Moonie, and hope your health issues improve
Yogi, hopefully your cold will be over in the next day or so
Aw moonie, have a big hug! we miss you so look after yourself and come back as soon as you can ok
From me too moonie a rotten time to be feeling under the weather, thank you for popping in to let us know how you are and please look after yourself until you can be back with us more

I hope all goes well with your client EL.
A lovely reminder of the reason for the season
I love that little rudolph squiggle
I'm back from seeing my client, getting my hair cut, picking up my prescription from the doctors, dropping it offf at the chemist, and doing a spot of local shopping. All in under 2 hours.
Thanks Summer, and I love my avi too.
Squiggle, I love that Rudolph smiley.
El, I hope all goes well with your client.
A lovely clip, squiggle
Youtube has a tendency to mute their clips so I went on to the Youtube site - https://www.youtube.com/watch?...ed&v=MOByXwK-g94 and moved the speaker bar to be able to hear it.

That was quick, I've just posted, "hope all goes well with your client".
We are off out to brave the shopping hoards in Glasgow, to get the last few adult gifts and some things for PB. Wish me luck!
Good luck Yogi on your shopping
It wasn't a long visit at the client and my barbers is close to the client so although doing what I did in under 2 hours sounds quick, it was quite easy to do.

Well done EL - you must have been a blur you were moving so fast Don't forget to give us a twirl.

I really must get myself on to my main computer and change my avi!
Now THAT'S a twirl! Brilliant EL.
It's a whirling dervish gif but I thought it was a good twirl
Summer, I thought I'd get my hair cut today before the schools break up for Christmas.
I posted yesterday about the major roadworks at Huntley on the A40 starting in the new year.
The MP for that area has now criticised the Highways Agency for poor communication about the roadworks because of the effect on businesses and why the road has to be closed for 4 months.

Now if one of you did a twirl you could use this:
Brilliant twirl.
Shopping is finish! Woohoo!!
Well done Yogi
Thanks El. I'll admit to feeling relieved.
Well done Yogi
And from me too nice when you've bought all the presents, just wrapping to go, I am in the middle of it now, although I've cheated and bought some gift bags for some
Well done Yogi

I always buy a few gift bags too - especially for the odd shaped and difficult to wrap ones.
Well done Yogi

My mother used to have a small collection of pretty bags which she would put the Christmas presents for the immediate family in, then re-used them the following year They looked similar to this.

Those are really pretty, El. They remind me of Cath Kidston stuff.
Goodnight and sweet dreams everyone.
Hugs for the lovely night owls.

they are gorgeous EL
Sorry I didn't get online last night, I had a bath and came straight to bed. Luckily I don't feel unwell, just a runny nose and tired.
I hope Santa doesn't catch colds
Those gift bags are beautiful, and I had to giggle at yogi's post because they too remind me of Cath Kidston designs
I hope everyone has a lovely day, I'm in for a busy one but will pop in when I can ïŋ―ïŋ―
Good morning everyone.
It's a cold and frosty morning! Brrr!
Summer, you were up early this morning. I hope your cold gets better soon.
I love the tree and presents pic.
Will be posting my Christmas cards today and a couple of parcels. Let's hope the queue in the Post Office isn't too long.
PB will be visiting this afternoon, to give DiL some time to do her gift wrapping in peace.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
It's cold and sunny here, and some frost.
Summer, lovely picture, I hope your cold is a small one, and hope you aren't rushed off your feet
Yogi, it sounds as if you are over the worst of your cold and I hope you have a pleasant afternoon with PB
Aw I can't wait to hear what PB is up to already have a lovely afternoon together yogi
Good morning everyone, it's a pleasant change to see a hint of blue sky, sadly the rain will be back again tomorrow but I am enjoying it while I can.
I hope you manage to shake off the threatened cold quickly Summer and I am glad that yours is just about gone Yogi. Have a great afternoon with PB.
I want to shake all those presents under the tree Summer to see what's in all those interesting parcels
Enjoy your day everyone
Summer, I'm glad you've been able to shake off that cold
Squiggle. it's as nice here as it is where you are.
Bought some of these today from M&S for when my brother comes here for Christmas:
Appallingly dangerous driver sent to prison - article on my local news website.
http://www.gloucestercitizen.c...95-detail/story.html
This happened quite close to where I live and I drive down most of the roads mentioned oftern enough. I can tell from the order of the roads listed that the driver would have gone straight over the main Cheltenham Road twice, the first time from Oxstalls Lane to Grafton Road he would have gone through bollards at the entrance to Grafton Road from Cheltenham Road as vehicles are supposed to be prevented there, and the second time the way from Riversley Road to Paygrove Lane would mean that he turned into Elmbridge Road, crossed straight over Cheltenham Road across the pavement into Old Cheltenham Road which takes you to Paygrove Lane.
There would have been hundreds of children on those roads at the time as there are several schools close by.
