I'm not ill this morning and I've caught up on strictly

Skylark & Moonie, hope you're both ok, come back soon

Lovely tree Summer, and I agree about Skylark and moonie, much missed.  I didn't get wet EL thank you

Well done Yogi on getting your decorations done

Summer, it sounds as if you've had a good day outdoors and I hope you enjoy your tea

The church service was a bit different this morning. Other than the first Sunday each month we have a communion service. On the first Sunday we don't have a communion at the main service but have a less formal service. It varies from month to month and can be taken by various people from the congregation rather than the vicar.

Today, because of the recent confirmation, we had a communion service (even though it's the first Sunday in December). It was a less formal one as only the vicar robed up, the servers and the girl helping the vicar leading the service didn't. Instead of having the communion at the high altar, we used a table closer to the congregation. It seemed to go well and it wouldn't surprise me if it's repeated some time.

I've got my car back and had a lovely trip to a farm shop with SIL, picking up some delicious steak & veg for tea. Then I walked Bramble and kept finding ways to stay out a little longer because the sunny, cold day was just so nice

I did enjoy it, Summer, and I love to sit at night with all the lamps off and just relax in the tree lights - lovely!

Yummy, I love steak dinners.

We both have a cold, kindly passed on to us by our gorgeous granddaughter earlier in the week. We heard that a curry was a good thing to eat when you have a cold, so we ordered one in.

Thanks El, my tree does look nice (Well, I think so).

How do you feel about the less formal service, did you enjoy it?

Bad mistake

Total stupidity!

Mr Yogi is in bed, poorly. The cold he had has become a chest infection. He was lucky to get a doctor's appointment this morning and has been given some antibiotics.

Thanks El, and I will ensure he finishes the course.

Thanks Squiggle.

I'm soldiering on.

Good morning everyone.

Weather looks wet and windy today.

Mr Yogi is still asleep so I'm not sure how he is feeling today, but I am feeling a bit better thanks, Summer and El.

Middle son and Dil are coming for tea tonight, and to drop off the hamster before they go off on holiday. I'll need to pop to the shops to get something for dessert.

Have a good day everyone.
