Rather late this morning for me. It was my turn to update our church website, and I found we had major problems yesterday evening which looked potentially terminal. However, this morning after an hour or so, I have been able to rectify the problem

Good morning everyone.    It's a beautiful sunny day here, although somewhat blustery.  Lovely to see some blue sky for a change.  I noticed all my daffodil bulbs have sprung into life in the last 48 hours.  It must be the damp, warm atmosphere that's brought them to life.

Six and a half hours later, I have just got back in. Church this morning, then out for lunch with a couple from church at their house. Stuffed mushrooms with garlic bread, followed by a beef casserole with roast potatoes etc, followed by seconds, followed by plum crumble with strawberry yoghurt and cream, followed by cheese and biscuits for those who still had space, followed by coffee and plain chocolate chunks.

So I'm a bit full at present

And on the weather front, it's a bit wet and windy. Joyron, I also noticed that one or two buds are starting to open, but I hope not many do because in a couple of days time it will get cold again.

El, you won't need to eat for a couple of days after that lot. It sounds delicious though.

A good episode of Larkrise yesterday evening. I won't go into any details as I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet, but there are some little gems in it, in particular a wordless scene between Queenie and Twister.

I like to watch something good when I'm doing the ironing - it alleviates the boredom.

Good morning everyone, Yogi don't burn your fingers either!   Skylark don't overdo it today at work I watched an episode from last year's Lark Rise (about the measles epidemic) you could say I am a little behind everyone else Wow EL that sounds a delicious meal, I bet you don't feel too hungry today.  Dull and grey so far today (hey that rhymes!)

Good afternoon everyone.  It's been a bit of a "nothing" day here today.  I hope tomorrow will be brighter.

Skylark, glad to see you sensibly decided to take another week off.  I'm sure the extra rest will do you good and you will feel so much better when you do return to work.
