I'm glad you slept well and are back home safely Summer

I hope the twinges ease off Yogi, horrible to be woken so early with stomach pains, I've been there myself and I know how awful it is How sensible of your doctor and I hope you can get it stabilised.

Was your visit to your client successful EL?

It's ever so windy and rainy here too and I've got to go to the hairdressers, so my hair will probably look like that when I've finished

Enjoy your day everyone, I hope you can dodge the showers

Squiggle, the meeting with the client was successful in that she signed her tax return and I have now filed it with the HMRC. We don't know at this time if HMRC will decide that she no longer needs to do a tax return. I have to see what happens over the next couple of months as what we do in terms of her paying any tax in January depends on what HMRC do.

(although she has paid the tax for 13/14, there will be a small amount of tax to pay for 14/15. If HMRC decides that she doesn't do a tax return for 14/15, then eventually the unpaid tax will be built into a later year's tax code. If they still want her to do a tax return then she will have to pay half the tax in January and the rest next July)

Afternoon everyone.

Still getting some twinges but not strong ones.

El, I love that ad!

Monty and Mabel soft toys were already out of stock by yesterday afternoon.

I got an email today, containing the M&S Christmas ad and it's also very good.

Moonie, I laughed at your "baby weather".

Squiggle, I hope the wind hasn't ruined your new hairdo.

I hope Skylark's computer problems are resolved quickly.

Summer, are you back at work today?

I was quite lucky and managed to dodge the showers - does quick twirl - .  Yogi I am glad the twinges are settling down a little now.  Summer thank you for letting us know about Skylark's computer problems, I hope she can get them sorted out quickly.

My eldest grandson's girlfriend's daughter is 3 today and they are getting her a fish tank, I thought of PB Yogi and I know she will just love it.

Good description of the weather moonie

I hope she has lots of fun watching and taking care of the fish.

Squiggle, well done on avoiding those showers.

Yogi, i'm glad the twinges aren't as bad now.

And I assume that this is the M&S advert you were referring to. It's a good one.

That's the one, El.

Good morning everyone, we've had a lot of rain but I think the forecast is showery now.  Enjoy your bike ride Joe.  Yogi I am glad you slept better with no spasms, I should think you needed a good night's sleep after your early awakening.  Is it a PB day?

I hope it's a good day for everyone, no matter what you're up to

No PB today, unfortunately, but she is staying overnight next Saturday.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a spasm free night

The rainfall totals varies across the country. The Met Office statsitics for the South West show 1014.5 mm to the end of October compared to 1074.7 for the whole of 2013. For South Scotland 1289.6 to October compared to 1438.3 for 2013. So although the South West has less rain than South Scotland, in comparison the South West will get significantly more rain this year to last year.

GJ, I hope the sunny weather stays for your bike ride. The weather here is such that no-one would venture out on a bike unless they had no alternative.

Squiggle, I hope it remains showery rather than heavy rain if you have to go out.

And have you had a good day?!

I had lots!  Barbeque ribs, dry ones and ones in a sauce, mini spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry, fried rice and plain noodles - only small portions of each.

Day was good. Eldest son popped in for a cuppa on his way home from work.

How was your day?

I did get a beef joint to slow cook tomorrow though

Aw how's your son? And PB? And Harvey?

We're having roast beef tomorrow too.

Middle son is coming for dinner tomorrow instead of today. DiL is going out with her sister.

My eldest son is good. He said PB is in fine form and Harv is doing okay too.
