Congratulations to squiggs and family - exciting times ahead     Sky, it's good to see you around again - hope things are going well with you and the family in the Capital

Lazy weekend but caught up with the first three episodes of The Code last night, Australian thriller showing on BBC 4. All I can say is wow

Hope everyone's having a good day

Hi Velvet.

I need to check out The Code, it sounds like my kind of programme.

My daughter when she was a teenager was a nightmare for washing, when asked politely to tidy her room she just chucked everything in the wash, even if she had just tried it on and it was clean, until I caught on.

That's lovely to hear.

lol I think my youngest is related to your daughter. On a bedroom tidy up, he was known to put freshly ironed clothes into the laundry basket!

An absolute waste of millions of money. Only people that go on them are tourists and older ladies with free bus passes who want a slow day out to the airport, and back.  We have a good bus service that goes to the airport. Many have lost years of their business because of all the digging of the streets, and then they only go in the town and back. Hope that answers your question, i can rant more if you wish

I might need to pop thru this weekend just to see it. Doing nout else. Parking is a nightmare though cost wise and dunno if there's one way systems but used to park up Lothian Road past the Kings in some side terrace. Only problem now is there's a wheelchair involved and it's all uphill back but want to see it

The trams only go from York Place along Princes St and on to the airport. They dont go up Lothian Road. I dont know about parking there. Yes it is uphill. Parking maybe around Meadowbank, then on to the town. You can send me PM if you wish, and i can tell you further xx

On another note, maybe some help or advice.
My dog, Staffy, Kia is becoming incontinent . Not every day, but i have to take her out constantly to pee, or she will do it indoors. Had her at vets, no health issues, but at times she cant help but do it indoors. Three times lately she has jumped on my sons bed and peed. Have binned the duvet and had to buy new mattress. She is nearly 15 now, is it just something i have to put up with? I love her dearly, but it is trying my patience to be honest. Any advice? Thanks xx

And how are you feeling yourself lately?

She was out and about today so she's on the mend. Should be back on form by Wednesday.

I've been fine recently. Managing to eat things I haven't been able to touch for absolutely ages. Still on the steroids for another few weeks, so we'll see what happens when I come off them.

Thanks Summer.

Hubby is still on leave, so if PB feels up to it, we hope to take her out and about on Wednesday.

Ouch, ligament pain and toothache, you poor soul.

I'm fine thanks and PB is on the mend after gastric bug.

Our schoolchildren are back at school this week after their October break, does that mean you are due to go on half term break soon?
