Haha noooooo! I can't sing at all lol I'd be the Scott mills of strictly come singing
I think I'm great in the car though

Stay strong, no cake now = more delicious cake at christmas! My colleague brought me cake today and told me to start my diet tomorrow, I refused it even though I felt a bit mean. I had previously told her though...

lol @ the Scott Mills of Strictly Come Singing.

Mr Yogi is always singing but he never knows the right words and makes them up. Sometimes he puts on headphones to listen to music and sings along - it always reminds me of Julia Roberts' character screeching singing in the bath in Pretty Woman.

Well done on resisting the cake, that takes willpower.

Good morning everyone

Grey and damp here with rain still forecast for the first half of the day.

The update yesterday evening was about polls made on the forum which are now called surveys. I have raised a couple of fundamental questions with Lori as at present it seems that we cannot create any new ones.

The opening questions are listed under surveys with the results. Any comments made are shown on the original thread. The original thread has a link to the survey questions. But the survey questions don't seem to have a link to comments, just show the numer of comments made.

I'll let you know in due course what Lori says but as things are ate present polls/surveys are unusable.

El Loro

Good morning everyone, cloudy but dry here, looks like all our yesterday's weather went your way Summer.

I haven't noticed any polls on here for ages EL, it didn't occur to me until you mentioned it.

I think there might be one more cut due on my lawns, but of course they are very vigorous after all the treatments they have had this year.

Enjoy your day everyone

I see that in yesterday's forum update it is now possible to see threads and dialogs in printer friendly format so that it's possible to print them off.

Before any of you think of printing off this entire thread, make sure you have a lot of paper and ink cartridges. At a rough estimate you would need about 4,500 sheets of paper

 I don't think I'll bother!

She is thanks Yogi. We get out and about and she potters round the garden - hanging baskets today. I thank my lucky stars every night

That's what I was hoping to hear.

*night owls* sorry to have just missed you yogi, I just don't know where the day has gone to! Sweet dreams and I'll catch up with you tomorrow

I'm in pain! Lol I went to an exercise class where my instructor decided to try out some new stuff on us, which was challenging enough anyway but I wasn't there last week so I'm more out of shape. I usually get delayed muscle ache so if I ache now then I'm going to really feel it tomorrow

Lets all start a poll each when they return, and see who can come up with the most unexpected subject!

Leaving goodnight hugs for all

Good morning it looks dry and bright out this morning
I hope you all slept well

Thanks for your good wishes, my back muscles know they've been worked this morning, and bramble is currently stretched out horizontally across 3/4 my bed which is squishing me!
I am fine though

My mum's chest infection wasn't clearing so they gave her a course of antibiotics which she then reacted badly too. She's suffering from water retention and her legs have puffed up something terrible.
She's on water tablets now and is awaiting the results of a chest x-ray.
She sounded perkier yesterday but isn't feeling better yet

That sounds very uncomfortable for your mum. I hope the new tablets work quickly and she feels better soon.

Good morning everyone, dry here, at the moment.

Your poor mum Summer, I hope she feels better soon.  Do they know what it was in the antibiotic that she reacted badly to? They need to note on her records that she isn't to be given that one again.  I hope your back muscles soon recover

I don't think I would dare to do a poll, although I am sure I have done one in the past.  Sometimes they can lead to heated discussions if people are on different sides, tin hat time

Enjoy your day everyone

I didn't mind the heated discussions in the old days but we are such a small, tight-knit community now, it can feel like bickering with best friends.

Off out with hubby to see the Christmas decs in the garden centre. See you later.
