Good morning everyone.  I think the storm is still rumbling around somewhere EL, I think it was in Wales last night as I kept seeing flashes from that area.  We are getting frequent showers at the moment, some quite heavy and great huge cloud banks blown by a south-westerly wind which, as you will know, is the stormy wind direction.  All quite dramatic and would be lovely if I didn't have to go out in it but I do and I have to pick up some people as we go to house group.

I hope everyone manages to stay dry if they do have to venture out today.  I would imagine some people's weather is a little less dramatic down here, and certainly I would hope it is for those on holiday

Enjoy your day everyone - I hope the car is running well now EL.

Yes, but those coins are unlikely to be worthless

HMRC has a lot to answer for with the imposition of Real Time Information on employers. These errors are not surprising as RTI is a nightmare for many employers. HMRC makes the assumption that all employers are highly skilled with using computers.

The errors will relate mainly to people who don't do tax returns so will have less impact on my clients where I do tax returns.

El Loro

Good morning everyone, I am glad you had a good time Summer.  I think I have similar weather to yours EL, the sky is a beautiful blue at the moment with just a few fluffy white clouds.  I am sure the forecast for tomorrow was for thunder so I don't think the storm has gone far.  I hope your weather is not too bad later moonie.

Enjoy your day everyone, and safe journey home Yogi.

Hi Skylark. Yes, I'm always the same when I get home - everything has to get washed and dried as soon as possible.

Yes, PB came too. She was fine in the heat - factor 40 sunblock, sun hats and DiL fashioned a buggy cover out of a sheet of muslin. We nicknamed her burka baby.

She likes to drink lots anyway, so no worries about dehydrating, and she ate well too.

How is your granddaughter, is she enjoying school?

Aww good. Yes GD fine, she has had her hols with nana. Wasnt keen on the heat when they went to Majorca. She likes the cold ! Very odd child! She doing very good at school, but a tad bored with some stuff as she could count and write quite well when she was 3, so finds it a bit tiring! But she helps others so thats good. Dont want her targeted as a smarty bum , if you know what i mean x

She would get on well with Mr Yogi, as he also prefers the cold to heat.

She's obviously a bright girl and I'm sure you'll keep her grounded so she doesn't become a smarty bum. It's nice that she helps the others - must take after her granny, she has a kind heart.
