Lovely picture, squiggle
I think the book-keeper is just as worried as her husband. She's snowed under with work but I've been able to let her know that one accounting issue which had been on her mind is unlikely to affect them.

Well done EL.
Now I hope everyone will forgive me for this (please ) but especially for Summer
Squiggle, I forgive you, not that you've done anything to be forgiven for
Confession time, I've never seen Elf

Consider yourself forgiven.

Confession time, I've never seen Elf
Neither have I, El. I have seen clips though.
Oh I love it! It's so funny - I would say it's worth giving it a go this Christmas, you can get a used DVD from Amazon in very good condition for less than ÂĢ1.50.

I'll have a look once the OP trial has ended for the day.
Squiggle, I have purchased a copy of Elf.
Hi Fremsley.
It has turned out to be a lovely day, with hazy sunshine. Keira and I have been on a nice, leisurely walk.
I'm glad you had a lovely walk and that the weather brightened up and I really hope you will enjoy Elf
It goes without saying of course that I hope you enjoy it too Velvet (and I hope EL will get a copy too, unless of course they do schedule it for Christmas and we have no way of knowing for at least 6 weeks I should think)
I'll look out for it in the run up to Christmas as if Channel 5 shows lots of Christmassy film in the weeks leading to Christmas (it has in previous years thouugh with the change in ownership that may change).
Christmas telly would drive you over the edge.
Breaking Bad and The Bridge 11 ( kinda sidelined   are the no. 1 priorities.
Never watched Breaking Bad but I love The Bridge.
I have started stockpiling DVD's (I have seen so many of the Christmas movies) and one I definitely want to watch (must remember to buy) is The Buddy Holly Story in which Gary is brilliant, singing all the songs and playing guitar. I have seen a clip and it is incredible. I know you haven't watched CBB Yogi but there has been one reason for me to keep watching, in a word Gary Busey. He has been a delight to watch although he has been unmercifully bullied in there but he has stuck it out and for one good reason, he is giving his fee to charity. This is his charity (below) and I am really hoping that tonight we can reverse the horrible end to the regular BB by making Gary or Audley the winner.
The Busey Family Foundation was established in 2012 by actor Gary Busey and his fiancÃĐe, Steffanie Sampson. The Foundationâs purpose is to raise funds for the awareness, education and research for Kawasaki Disease, ("KD") and to provide funding for families who are unable to afford the proper treatment of this disease.
Luke Busey, son of Gary Busey and Steffanie Sampson was diagnosed with KD at the age of 15 months and required hospitalization for two weeks while being treated. The episode was extremely traumatic for the entire family, because Luke, since his birth, had been the picture of robust health, and nobody in Lukeâs family had ever heard of this insidious disease, which, as they learned during the course of hospital treatment, carried with it the possibility of lifelong disability or even fatal consequences. The challenge with the treatment of KD is that the symptoms mimic other childhood diseases and often times it is not diagnosed and treated in time. When treating KD, time is of the essence. If not diagnosed and treated within ten days of its onset, a once healthy child can become terminally ill.
KD occurs predominately in babies and children under the age of five years and affects roughly 15 out of every 100,000 children in the United States. In spite of this fact, the disease remains largely unknown by not only the American public but by doctors also, who spend a very short time studying this disease while in Medical School.
Squiggle, I've never heard of Kawasaki Disease, so I hope Gary's stint in the CBB house raises awareness for it, as well as him donating his fee. I haven't watched CBB but I am aware that he has been treated badly by James, Dee and co in the house, and only Audley and Lauren have been nice to him. Fingers crossed for a Gary and Audley Top 2.
I remember that in the Strictly thread there was one FM who always said they couldn't stand James (sorry I can't remember who ) and I could never understand why. I can now!

I can imagine! He always came across as arrogant and very opinionated, and he has cold eyes. I remember he was so horrible to the celeb who was his first partner on Strictly - blonde actress from Casualty, Georgina Bouzova. He made her cry with nasty comments about her weight, and she wasn't overweight at all!
Squiggle, you might have spotted in your post on Gary Busey and Kawasaki that there was a weird series of letters and a smiley appearing, About half way down instead of ("KD") appearing, it showed ("KD&rdquo
Well done on spotting a bug I've edited your post to make it what you had intended and reported it to Social Strata.

He is horrible horrible horrible Yogi!
Oh wow EL, it didn't show up like that for me, so well done to YOU for spotting the bug
Squiggle, the bug only appeared when you posted it, it looked fine in the Post Reply box which is why it didn't show up for you. Brian Lenz at Social Strata has confirmed that it's a bug. It's similar to one which had been reported some time ago but ours can be replicated at will which should make it easier for the developers to correct it. It seems to be caused by pasting something which starts with (" and ends with "). Just typing it (which is what I did to correct it) works fine.
Somehow I don't this bug will rank very high on their to do list though
Well done on spotting it anyway EL, it all helps the forum to run smoothly and that's what we all want.
I'm gonna say it
Squiggle, you're wee nuances and photos represent all that is lovely in my book.
And lovely goes a long way from where I'm sitting
You are a force of unadulterated good
Thanks Velvet, you're not so bad yoursel' God Bless
Me too.
Evening Summer, sounds like you've had a busy day.
How are you feeling, is your throat any better?
I've had an email to say my copy of Elf has been despatched. I'm going to wait until nearer Christmas to watch it.
Got a PB day tomorrow, so I'll be toddling off soon.
I used to suffer a lot with tonsillitis in my teens and early twenties. I found Strepsils helped until I could get to the doctor for some antibiotics.
I think you do need to get your throat checked out.
PB's blackbirds haven't been around as much recently. I think it's because they are no longer feeding their babies and don't need so much food.
There are plenty of Blue Tits and Great Tits around so she can watch them instead.
I have! He noticed the blackbirds coming to the window ledge for raisins, and popped over to eat any that were left behind.
Going to get off to bed now. Goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer and Velvet.
Hugs for our absent friends.
Good morning everyone.
Weather is cool, dry and bright.
It's a PB and Middle Son and DiL Day, so I better get organised.
Have a lovely Saturday, and I'll catch up later tonight.
Good morning everyone
Fair;y cloudy here woth patches of blue struggling to make themselves seem.
Yogi, I hope you have a nice day with PB, middle son and DIL
Summer, as Yogi says, you need to see your doctor if you keep on getting these sore throats
A get well for Moonie
We've got a new Font size icon to use
but I think it's still in development as it's not fully working correctly yet.
Good morning everyone, still nice today but feels maybe a touch cooler at the moment
Have a lovely lunch Summer, sounds like a busy happy day Yogi, I hope PB is on top form.
What fun, a font size BOX to play around with!
Enjoy your day everyone
Cheltenham did seem busier than normal this morning.
Now I know why:

Good luck with diamond hunting EL
Squiggle, I had got home without knowing about the diamond hunt and I should think ny now that either they have all been found or that Cheltenham centre is chaos.
An update on the BBC site about the dismond hunt in Cheltenham today.
