Moonie, thank you and I wish a happy day to you and that your health improves

Fankoo muchly El
I couldn't lay in this morning so I got up and walked bramble, then went to see my accountant, then SIL, had some lunch and an now relaxing with TV and craft projects
I remember watching it at the cinema when it was released and it's one of my all time favourites in a most delightful way.
As is Dick Van Dyke. I had previously seen him in "The Dick Van Dyke Show" which we regularly watched back in the early 60s when it was shown on BBC.
I'll be watching Our Zoo which starts next Wednesday BBC1 at 9.
6 part drama based on the founding of Chester Zoo in the 1930s.
Has the potential to be very very good and a must watch programme.

Stars Lee Ingleby (Bacchus in Gently) and Liz White (Annie Cartwirght in Life of Mars). Also Peter Wight (Edmund Lovett in The Paradise) and Anne Reid (Celia in Last Tango in Halifax)
I love Mary Poppins, it's one of my favourite childrens' films. I look forward to watching it with PB when she's older.
Flying visit, I'm afraid - had a lovely day with PB and son though. More details tomorrow.
Night owl hugs for Summer and Moonie.
Fankoo for all your good wishes lovely people
Are you feeling better?
Hi Yogi, sorry for not replying yesterday
Not feeling all that much better tbh but there will be someone who much worse off than I
Have a great day with PB and the birds
No problem Moonie. I hope you feel better soon.
Bird feeding galore!
Good morning everyone
Quite cloudy here, dry this morning, rain forecast this afternoon.
I hope Moonie's better today.
Good morning everyone.
It has rained overnight, but it looks like it's brightening up.
PB slept well and is in her highchair, having her breakfast. She had a great day yesterday and was singing "Birdy, birdy, birdies"
She chased Keira around the dining table, which helped tire out both of them. Once Keira lay down, PB lay on top of her for a cuddle.
Get well soon, Moonie.
Have a good day everyone.
Yogi, I hope your day with PB goes well and that you don't have to resort to running round and round the dining table
Good morning everyone. Yogi what a lovely story, I can just see Keira and PB having a fun time chasing each other and I love the cuddle afterwards You know it's so good as well because she will grow up to love dogs, some children raised without a lovely friendly dog in the house grow up scared of them, which is sad. My favourite character in Peter Pan was always Nana.
Raining here and definitely chilly but the garden is drinking it up. The fish in the pond are still eating well but I'm keeping my eye on them because as the weather gets colder then they stop eating. I didn't know that the first year we had a pond and was throwing food in all winter, no wonder my pond got algae really badly, it makes the water too rich if there's uneaten food around.
Enjoy your day everyone, Summer I hope there's not too much of a rush for last minute haircuts before school starts.
And I'm back.
There are plans to reintroduce the Large Blue butterfly at the Rough Bank reserve in the Slad Valley (Laurie Lee) in Gloucestershire. It's a rare butterfly. Clip of this at Collard Hill in Somerset:
What a pretty butterfly EL, I like butterflies. We have a real fast flying one here, I think it's the Purple Emperor
Squiggle, I like butterflies as well. Here's a brief clip of a purple emperor butterfly:

Fans of Striclty may want to watch or record tomorrow's episode of Doctors as it's about a dance competition judged by Anton du Beke.
Meet YoYo the basset hound, who is now officially a very large cat

Aaaaw PB and Keira that's so lovely. I didn't realise she was staying over yogi, I hope you've had another good day. I like her birdie song too
Squiggle & El, I love butterflies too, they are beautiful and make me smile when I see them during my walks I hope the new butterflies settle in well
Fremsley I hope you get time to stop for a cuppa
Crikey Fremsley, that's a lot of miles! Are you working or on holiday?
How adorable!
Leaving goodnight hugs for all
Good morning everyone.
PB isn't awake yet, so a quick post.
Summer, that bear pic is so like PB giving Keira a cuddle, although she lies along her back, rather than on her head. lol
We had a lovely day yesterday. We went to the park and then to Morrisons, where she charmed everyone by giving them a very royal wave as we were leaving. The birdies will need to go on a diet after she goes home tonight, they've never had so many raisins!
Bathtime is fun, and splashing granny is a cause for lots of giggles.
Squiggle, I love butterflies. I have a buddleia bush in the front garden and a smaller one in a pot in the back garden, and both attract pretty butterflies.
Fremsley, I like your choices of day trip places to visit. I particularly like Perth, it has such beautiful scenery.
El, I'll be recording Doctor Who. Still haven't seen last week's yet!
Moonie, get well soon.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Cloudy and heavy showers here today.
Yogi, I hope you have another nice day with PB I had been referring to today's episode of Doctors rather than tomorrow's Doctor Who
Moonie, I hope you get better soon
My brother will be arriving this afternoon for the weekend. I think it likely that he will be bringing more of those Thorntons bars.

Whoops!
Good morning everyone, I love that goodnight picture, so cute Yogi I would love to have been there to see PB in Morrisons I bet everyone fell a little in love with her.
We have some buddleias too, I was so lucky as one self-seeded right opposite my armchair (I mean I can see it through the window ) and I love to see the butterflies on it. I have dug out my butterflies and moths identification book this morning, and I am going to do some more research.
I adore Perth and all around that area. We stayed on 2 visits quite close to Pitlochry, a tiny place called Bridge of Cally not far from Blairgowrie and used to take the road up past the Spittal of Glenshee, Tomintoul to Cock Bridge, the road they shut as soon as the snow starts falling. I love the Spey Valley too. A wonderful area to explore. I hope you have been enjoying your day trips fremsley.
My cousin had two wonderful pictures on his FB this morning
Lovely pictures, squiggle
I'll be off shortly to see another client though don't expect to be very long there.
I hope the visit with your brother goes really well EL, and that you both enjoy the cakes. Do you have a good game to play at the moment?
It seems that the film critic of the Guardian has suggested that rather than using places like New York for disaster movies, why not give Stroud the disaster treatment.
Stroud's about 11 miles to the south of Gloucester and Stroud traders and leaders are asking what has Stroud done to deserve this.

Squiggle, we started playing The Raven, legacy of a master thief last time and will continue. It's a traditional point and click adventure game and is in three separate parts. We are still on the first so it should keep us occupied. Although it's not Agatha Christie, it is heavily influenced by her books and one of the characters is loosely based on her.
The first part is good. However I am aware that the second and third parts tell the same story but from a different character's viewpoint. There are aloso reports of bugs not that we've encountered any.
This type of game is getting increasingly hard to get in box form and it's likely that I will be downloading them from the likes of Steam. That applies to the like of the latest Broken Sword game as although you can get it in box form, most of that game needs to be downloaded from Steam. I am lucky in that I have fast broadband so downloading games won't be a problem for me.
At long last I've worked out how to put pictures from Flickr on this site.
Hoping this works:
I think it does, but it's not the normal way of posting pictures. Go to the page with the full picture. Click on the share icon. Click on Code and sslect HTML. Select which size (this one is 500 x 375), make sure the HTML radio button is selected rather than embed. Copy the code which appears. Come back here. Select the HTML icon at the far right of the icons. On a separate line paste the code which you've copied. Click update to return to the normal posting screen and the picture should appear. Whether it's worth the hassle involved is a different matter but at least it's possible.
My brother has arrived. Cakes are as I guessed, some of the Thornton bars. He's also brought some little cranberry cookies to try.
Afternoon all
Bit of a stinker today. Might be Culzean tomorrow in my new job as a coffee salesman.
I am Mick Travis in O Lucky Man
Be careful of James Burgess though.

Will you be visiting the castle and country park?
