Good to see you, Moonie.

Take good care of yourself and come back whenever you are ready.

Oh yes! The blackbirds aren't visiting as often now that the babies have fledged, but that won't stop PB saying "birdies" and pointing to the back door every five minutes,

Hubby bought her a duck which quacks, to add to her singing blackbird toy, and we've seen blue tits, robins and others we can buy for her.

Aaaaaaaw

What kind of dolls house did you have?

It wasn't a huge one. The whole front opened like a door, so you could access each room, and you could lift off the roof. My male cousin liked to play with it because it had a car and a garage - but my sexist uncle didn't like him playing with 'girls toys'.

Good morning everyone

Fairly cloudy but forecast to be dry here today, central heating came on again first thing but now off.

Hugs for our absentees

Yogi, I hope you have a good day with PB

The earliest presents I can remember from when I was very young were a farmyard scene jigsaw with say 50 pieces and a wooden steam train engine which my dad had made.

Evening all.

We had a great day with PB. We took her over to visit my mum and dad, then we went out for lunch and had a look round some shops. The fresh air must have knocked her out as she then had a 2 hour nap. She was "singing", dancing and giving out lots of hugs and kisses - as well as feeding her birdies, of course.

El, I love apple crumble, so you know where to send any leftovers.

Your dad must have been very good with his hands to make you a steam train, El.

Hope you've all had a good day, too.

Good morning everyone

Cloudy but dry here. Tomorrow looks as if it's a thoroughly wet day in my area.

Yogi, I'm glad you had a good day with PB.

Well done to Mr Yogi yesterday and Summer today.

I hope Moonie is able to rejoin us soon,

Summer, it was quiet here yeaterday and is likely to today. It tends to be when it's a bank holiday weekend.

Good morning everyone.

Weather is dry and bright, and was very chilly first thing.

Summer, Mr Yogi didn't squeal but he did gasp loudly (the only time he squeals is when a wasp is after him). We sat PB in her highchair at the door, so she could watch and you can hear her giggle on the video.

Squiggle, I agree that it's all in a good cause. I think this FB charity challenge, along with the recent one where girls published pics of themselves without makeup, have given some charities a well deserved boost.

El, I love crumbles and I like gooseberries too - yummy!

Moonie, get well soon.

Have a good day everyone

Well done, Summer I hope you enjoy your lunch, you deserve it.

I expect to be working tomorrow as I have a lot of work to do and the forecast is such that I don't particularly want to go out. the rain is forecast to start at 10 this evening and continue, with a couple of breaks, until 10 Tuesday morning. About 50mm in total. At it's worst later tomorrow morning with 15mm in 3 hours so there will be a lot of surface water on the roads.
