Sad news about Lauren Bacall. On the IMDB website for her, it's rumoured that her last role would be in a film called "Trouble is my Business" shown as being filmed. It's a film which has been in the pipeline for some time so it may be one of those films which never gets completed. However as it's a film noir set in 1947 with nods to the private eye films of that time, if she is in it, then interest in that film will soar.

It's a work day for me and could be quite a long day as a client meeting which was supposed to start a few minutes ago has been shifted to start at 5 and could go on for a couple of hours.

 

Good morning everyone, still very breezy here.  It is difficult to know what to wear at the moment Summer, we are twixt and between, Autumn definitely on the way though.  Winter duvet called for soon, the Summer one is starting to feel a little thin.

 

Will your youngest son be disappointed if PB isn't visiting today Yogi?  I bet she brightens up all your days, they are so precious at that age, I love spending time with little ones.

 

I hope the client visit goes well EL, that's an odd time to start a fairly long meeting, my tummy would be rumbling.

Squiggle, I'm hoping that Summer isn't over yet, just taking a breather.

My client rang yesterday to say that work has come in which means he's not available until late afternoon. I don't have my tea until after 7 and as he's local I'm hoping I'll be back before my tummy starts rumbling. Although I had an introductory meeting some time ago, this is the first time I'm doing his accounts and I have an agenda of questions to go through with him. It's difficult to know how long the meeting will take as it depends as to deal with those questions.

Autumn seems to have arrived very quickly this year.

 

Youngest son was hoping it was a PB day, and Wednesday and/or Saturday are her usual days, but she is coming on Thursday this week. I sent son a list of the other dates she is coming this month, so he can try to arrange a day off on a PB Day.

 

 

Summer, I hope all goes well at the dentist and no "work" is required.

The first of the long ships has arrived in Gloucester Docks for filming of the Johnny Depp film. The other 4 ships arrives tomorrow.

I think it quite possible that next Monday, Gloucester could have quite a lot of people in the docks area trying to get a glimpse of a certain J D as the filming starts then. They may be in for a disappointment as although it's known to be one of his films it doesn't follow that he will be there as if it is the Alice through the Looking Glass there's no reason to suppose that he is involved with any of the scenes with ships. If it had been the Pirates one that would be different.

I'm sure that the media will have pictures of whatever happens though.
