I've baked an Eve's pudding, if anyone would like some for dessert? 

While I was waiting for it to cook, I cleared out a couple of kitchen units and now I feel all hot and sticky, so I'm off for a bath before BB starts. Back later.

I nearly caused a fire or blow up in the kitchen by turning on my steamer with new potatoes in, but had forgotten to put water in the pan! Then I came into the living room and got distracted

Did I ever tell you about the time my mum put eggs in to boil and forgot about them? They boiled dry and exploded all over the kitchen.

Sunny here today. I think tomorrow will be far from sunny with the arrival of Bertha.

 

Eve's pudding can be eaten with custard or cream but I generally have custard. Apple crumble is a relatively recent pudding and was invented during WW2 due to food rationing.

I eat it hot with cream, custard or Evaporated Milk. Might be nice with vanilla ice cream too. You can also eat it cold if you like.
