Good morning everyone, cloudy and cool and it looks like we've had a little rain overnight.  Nothing compared to the end of this week and all through next according to the forecast, rain all the way, well the gardens really need it, some of the fields are looking very brown.

 

Summer I hope you are feeling better this morning, not so achy, and moonie I hope you feel more like your old self very soon and are back happily posting with us - hugs for you both

Due to the continuing phone calls (2 so far this morning) from the criminals who call themselves Windows Technical Support I have ordered a phone which has the ability to block phone numbers. It should arrive by the weekend.

Well done EL, I know those phones are pricey but it will be worth it in the long run because, as far as I know, they have a blocking capability far in advance of what I can do on my BT landline. I can just block certain numbers that call me but if I recall correctly they can identify nuisance callers far and wide.

Gosh El, this bunch of scammers are really persistent.

The phone I'm buying costs about £34 so isn't hugely expensive. My brother has a similar phone and he says it works for him.

 

It'll be worth its weight in gold and when it stops all these nuisance calls.

That's a good price EL, last time I looked the blocking phones were over £100.

And that includes an answering machine.

Welcome back moonie, don't forget to eat some live yogurt to put back some good bacteria which the antibiotics kill off, otherwise your poor tum will be upset.  I hope the antibiotics kick in soon and you are back to fighting form

I wonder if someone will make a film about the ongoing Cheltenham Banksy artwork as there's the potential for it. Whether it was done as a drama, a comedy, a thriller, or a political satire would depend as to how the saga ends.

The BBC posted this video clip of a dolphin seen in the river Severn at the weekend:

The stretch of the river mentioned is about 5 miles south of the centre of Gloucester. It's unusual to see a dolphin that far up the river but the river is tidal there so it's not unique and there's no reason to suppose that the dolphin couldn't get back to the sea.

 Harv does that to me. It's great in the winter if your feet are cold.

How's Keira doing? Is she keeping cool?

Even as a pup, Keira used to lie on really uncomfortable things. Mind you, if you look at a litter of pups all huddled together, they lie on top of each other, which must be uncomfortable.

 

Keira is fine and enjoying Harvey's company.

No, Mr Yogi put chicken wire the full length of the bottom of the garden, so Harv can't escape any more. The shrubs hide the chicken wire in the summer but I hate looking at in in the winter.
