I hope you all had a good day
I'm great at sleeping (as you well know) but I need to be comfy- I don't sleep well on planes etc but I can sleep on floors because i can stretch my legs

The show was great today, Betty's don't have a trade stand there but I did pick up plenty of other goodies
Help yourselves..

Yogi, I despise hacking, I hope you've cleared any traces of a problem

Sweetest of dreams a including extra for our absent friend

Hi Sweet...snaffles a cake
I hope you had a great time today

Did you take Bramble with you?

Moonie

Good morning everyone

Blue sky here without a cloud in sight. Unlikely to be any rain today.

Yogi, it's a headache when you find that your email account has been hacked. I hope you had a better night's sleep overnight and have a nice day with PB today

Summer, thanks for the yummy cakes and I'm glad you had a great time at the show yesterdaay

El Loro
Good morning a very cool start here today (I think the first hint of autumn wind ca be seen very early in the day) but the sun is shining through now.

I left bramble with a friend moonie, dogs aren't allowed at the Yorkshire show. There was he'll on on Tuesday because a lot of oeople tried, then left dogs in hot cars.. The police got involved.

Yogi, have a great day with PB
~Sparkling Summer~

Good morning everyone.  Yogi I am glad you slept a little better and hope you will again tonight, you have a sleep deficit to make up.  Enjoy your time with PB.  Summer I am glad you enjoyed the Yorkshire Show, silly people taking dogs with them, common sense tells you that you can't have dogs around with all those large animals. It is just so unfair to lock dogs up in boiling hot cars  The cakes look gorgeous.

Enjoy your day everyone

squiggle
Even if dogs were allowed, I wouldn't want to drag bramble round there all day because it's crowded and there's nowhere to rest, she would suffer in the heat and probably get trampled on. I can't believe the lack of common sense that's been going on down there and I'm pleased the shows organisers are now turning away people at the car park if they try to get in with a dog in the car

Awful news about that nurse who got stabbed in Gloucester hospital poor lady.

I've decided to spend the weekend making a huge batch of broth! I don't care that it's supposed to be a winter dish, I love it
Mr summer is considering attempting a big walk through the night and into the next day so he'll need a decent meal when he's finished
~Sparkling Summer~

Hi all. Flying visit as PB naps.

I can't believe the stupidity, not to mention cruelty, of people who leave dogs stuck in cars for hours on sunny days.

The local shows in this area do allow dogs, so long as they are kept on a lead. Most of these shows have Best Pet competitions, which allow dogs and other smaller animals to enter.

I love broth! I'm sure Mr Summer will appreciate a huge bowlful after his long walk.

Catch up later.

The blackbirds must have put on pounds, with the amount of raisins they have consumed today.

I took PB to the farm which is very near to us, so that she could see the cows, but all she was interested in were the birds that were flying around.

Well done for sticking to it, and I hope you manage to lose the excess pounds you want rid of.

You crack me up! I've got a mental image of Miss Marple on a treadmill now!

Well done on doing the exercise though. The closest I get to exercise is walking the dog.

Aww, you're a big softy.

You could always re-sell it on gumtree.

i wouldnt have the cheek

In that case, do you know any short, overweight folk, in need of some exercise equipment? You could flog it to them!

Maybe we should start calling them fat birds then Yogi

I would have thought PB would have liked the animals but it's obvious she has a 'bird fascination'

Fat birds sounds about right.

Her mum took her to the safari park recently. She wasn't interested in the wild animals but loved the birds of prey.
