Minor updates on the Chetlenham Banksy saga today:

http://www.gloucestershireecho...58-detail/story.html

At the end of the article, it says that the owner of the house is enlisting the help of heritage surveyors to see if the house's listed status is justified. It seems an odd move to make as I would think that if they say it isn't, he would then have to get the lifted status which would presumably take longer than the 28 days of the notice.

And now for an experiment.

Think of a number between 1 and 50.

I will now attempt to read your mind.

You thought of 37

(use pointer to highlight the text after "You thought of")

Was I right?

It's a little trick that magicians use to demonstrate that they can read minds as for some reason people are more likely to select that particular number than any other.

No, you are not a failure . It was something I heard on the radio this afternon and I thought I would try it out to see if it was true or not.

What they didn't say was that the question which magicians ask is "think of a number between 1 and 50 where both digits are odd and are different from each other"

That bit makes a difference to the answer, El.

Moonie, I did some testing on the 23 minutes coggy issue the other day which confirms what you and others have been saying. It's been passed on to the tech people to see if they can work out what the cause is. I found that the cogs start a few seconds before 23 minutes, and that the cogs ended a few seconds after 24 minutes start. If you happen to post during that time, just leave the cogs whirling and you should find that a few seconds after 24 minutes starts that your post has posted as normal with the time that you submitted your reply.

I was rather annoyed about poor dolly- who the heck has abandoned their dog at Glastonbury?! thank goodness she was found alive and is being looked after.

Moonie I'm glad you're feeling better it's good to have you back. I like your banksy collective theory

Summer, Dolly Parton has offered to take care of Dolly, so she will be okay.

The Banksy thing is just a theory but very strange no one, to my knowledge, has ever seen him
