I hope everyone has a good, relaxing day

squiggle

Morning everyone

Yogi, enjoy your gardening and then relaxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sweet, no need to appologise . I was surprised you popped in after all your exertions yesterday Awww poor Bramble but i'm sure she understood

Sweet relaxing in the bath Bath smileys

Squiggle, you would probably be better off if you relied on seaweed or pines cones

The weather is sunny at the moment but with clouds whizzing by We are promised dry weather so my washing was out by 8-30

Have a great day everyone

Aw how cute are those ducks and I love the owl pic too

No we didn't take bramble with us, she could do that distance I'm sure but dogs weren't allowed and I wouldn't want to put her through it anyway. I think 15 miles is far enough and she's just come in to season so I'm glad we left her with family, she's looking very sorry for herself today.

I had a lovely lavender bath and don't ache too badly
I wish the tennis was on today

Moonie, you were an early bird with your washing today.

Squiggle, I love the selfie pic and the owl one.

El, I recently watched An Inspector Calls for the first time. Very good and thought provoking.

Yep and it was dry so I fetched it and we has a sharp shower a few minutes later too

The bath definitely helped to ease your aches and pains then Sweet

Glad you like my bath smiley too

Its a rest day for the tennis, isn't it?

Have a great rest of your day

I completely agree El, it's very relaxing watching tennis that's my current plan for my day off this week *keeps fingers crossed*

Moonie, I did, but it was one of those books where not a lot happened. It was a sweet story but it didn't grip me.
I think my next one will grip me, it's called "head over heels in France" by Samantha Brick and is a true story. SIL loved it and insisted I read it

I think this BBC article today could be one of your all time favourite articles on their website:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-28036667

And as a little treat for you, I have found this clip starring the newborn elephant shown at the beginning of the article:

He was born on 5 May after a 22 month pregnancy and weighed a healthy 100 kg. He's been named Sutton after Stephen Sutton. I think that's been mentioned on the news.

How's your day been?

Hi again moonie, are you watching football?

It's not easy when you don't have a support network around you - especially today, when mum's are expected to hold down full time jobs and still do everything else.

I've done some housework, some washing and ironing and some gardening.

That's exactly it yogi, it's not often that mum's get to give up work when babies come along these days, and childcare is expensive. I can easily take bramble to work but I think it would be a different story with a human baby lol

We've been watching Glastonbury, Ed Sheeran was really good

Very different Sweet

I have watched some of Glastonbury too. Quite enjoyed it

Stepmom is a movie with Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts. A real weepy.

Yes, I can see that a baby would be more difficult to take to work than Bramble.
