TV is a bit rubbish tonight so I am about to watch Friday's episode of Gardeners' World, which I recorded.

I used to watch in the Titchmarch(sp) days

He seems to have stepped back from gardening now and writes novels and does chat shows instead.

I like Monty Don, although some purists don't like that fact that he is an amateur gardener rather than a qualified one. Personally, I like his presenting style and as long as he gives me useful info, I couldn't care less about his lack of "paper" qualifications.

 The viewing figures are the worst ever. Ch5 can't get it into their thick heads that BB fans want 'back to basics', Live Feed and interesting (not nasty) HMs.
