I'm glad Mr Summer is on the mend.

I have no idea what's for dinner tomorrow. It will depend whether middle son and DiL are staying. Dil doesn't eat beef or lamb or pork and only eats mince if it's in a pasta dish, so it will probably be a chicken dish. Eldest son's wife is the same.

We were delighted to discover that youngest son's GF eats most things - she is a dream to cook for.

We don't just like her because she eats everything, we like her because she is a really lovely girl.

Lol yogi, Crikey what a challenge! Give them a corn on the cob while the rest of you have a good feast or- pancakes!!!!

DiL who is coming tomorrow doesn't eat corn either.

I usually get middle son to ask her what she fancies for dinner and go with that.

Crickey

Moonie

Good morning everyone

Cloudy but mainly dry here today.

We had the chocolate cakes yesterday and will have the caramel ones tonight. There will be a couple remaining which I'll have another day.

Yes, England's first match will be Italy, the second Uruguay and the third Costa Rica. They have to beat Italy in order to have any chance of further progre3ss as they are very unlikely to beat Uruguay.

I hope eveyone has a nice day today

El Loro

Good morning everyone, I am glad you are enjoying the cakes EL, and your brother's company too of course

It's soooo important that we get on with our future in-laws isn't it Yogi, I am glad that youngest son has met such a lovely lass.

Dogs never learn though do they?  Silly Keira and Bramble.

I am happy that Mr Summer is feeling much better, all that gorgeous Italian food on his holiday will set him up a treat.  We could all be like that BBC advert for the World Cup and shrink ourselves and pop in your suitcase, couldn't we Summer?

Have a great day everyone, lovely picture by the way
