Have you ever damaged anything big?
Awww
Nope, not that I can remember Sweet

I have broken a LOT
Touch wood I have never broken a bone Sweet *knows this tempting fate*
Not to bad then
Nite nite Sweet. Sleep well and fankoo. Sweet dreams
Good morning everyone
It was raining here when I went to bed but it's dry now, just 100% cloud cover.
I hope squiggle hasn't melted away during the night.
I'm off to see a client and will be back later.
My brother is due to arrive here this afternoon for a weekend visit. I wonder what cakes he'll bring with him this time
Good morning everyone, no I haven't melted away, I have managed to get to grips with it. It does feel funny getting used to a new method. When you've been out and turned the boiler off then you know it is going to get cooler but I kept glancing anxiously at the thermostat. I definitely don't like being too warm, it gives me a headache.
Is it muggy where you all are? It's ever so heavy here, thick blanket of grey cloud.
I have changed the sheets and got them on to wash, done a bit of hoovering and washed the utility room floor.
I loved reading your catalogue of disasters Summer, it's not just me then. I once broke the glass in a small glass tabletop when I was a child. My sister used to iron on it so I thought I would too but I must have put the iron on it too hot, my parents were furious and so was my sister
Have a lovely weekend with your brother EL, I wonder what lovely cake he is bringing.
I hope your weather is better than mine everyone, enjoy your day
Good morning everyone. Weather is dry and cloudy.
lol Summer at your 'accidents'. I can be quite clumsy with small things like cups and glasses but Mr Yogi is the one who breaks big things - like putting his foot through the bedroom ceiling when he was up in the loft, and bursting a water pipe when he tried to fix a squeaky floorboard.
Squiggle, I'm glad you have been able to sort out the temperature issues. Being too warm can be as bad as being too cold.
Off out with hubby and youngest son, catch up with everyone later.
Morning Buddies
El, good luck with the client. I hope you have a good weekend with your brother. Don't forget you have friends in here, re the cake
Squiggle, you have had a busy morning all ready It looks like we aren't gonna get sunshine again today but I would settle for dry Glad to see you haven't melted away
Yogi, @ the attempted floorboard fixing and ensuing disaster Have a lovely time with your hubby and youngest
Sweet, I hope everything is okay with you
I'm back from my client, as straightforward tax as any client I have, and very unlikely to ever have problems with them.
Squiggle, I'm glad you've sorted out the heating controls My area is similar to yours, muggy with leaden skies. The only difference from yesterday which was worse is that it's dry today.

That's good news indeed El

Sorry El, I missed this post this morning. I hope you have a lovely weekend with your brother, and enjoy the cakes.
I wonder if my brother will bring this with him today:
It may look like a Louis Vuitton trunk but really is a cake though at ÂĢ4,200 it's a bit expensive.

What a fabulous cake!
But how could you cut into it, it's a work of art.

I agree with you, Squiggle. It's far too nice to cut into.
You can see more of Karen Portaleo's work on this Telegraph gallery of 12 images including that trunk. They are works of art but many would be really put off by the ones which look like real dogs but are cakes.

He definitely deserves to stay in the house.

Hi Summer.
We didn't go anywhere exciting, just went to Costco to stock up the freezer.
Son came home with us and we had tea and cakes.
Hi Sweet
Glad you are okay My day has been good fankoo
Hi here too Sweet
I am indeed Sweet
Son was good, thanks. He has been working hard, so intends to have a relaxing weekend.
Has Mr Summer fully recovered from his migraine and has Bramble's tummy settled down?
Keira was sick after eating her breakfast this morning. No doubt she had eaten something she shouldn't have, when she was wandering about in the garden first thing in the morning. Silly dog!
