Squiggle, it's just as well this has happened at this time of year rather than when the weather is getting colder but it doesn't say much for the people who made the mistake.

Fish tank is cleaned out and should pass son's inspection.

Plan C!  The boiler engineer is back with a kit for converting the wrongly ordered boiler - it's a question of whether the boiler incorporates a pump or not.  I hope they know what they're doing.  Still nowt I can do about it, just wait and see.

 

I hope the beautifully cleaned fish tank passes inspection Yogi - moonie I am sure there will be need of the naughty step but it was very thoughtful of you to warm it up ready

There have been big problems in the last hour in posting replies but Social Strata say they have just about sorted it out.

The poor boiler engineer has had to find a BB to stay overnight as he lives a 2 hour drive away and he hasn't finished yet.  Very frustrating for him but he seems a lovely guy so hopefully he will do a good job with the boiler, tomorrow.  Thankfully it isn't cold and I was not planning to cook (I just had a sandwich tonight).  Looking forward to getting it finished now though.

 

I hope everyone manages to get online on the forum OK tonight and that the fish tank meets with your son's approval Yogi.

Mr summer is quite unwell but thank you for asking after him he's recovered from the migraine well enough but the cold is dragging him down. He did finish work extra early because of the rain though

Yep, I have done in the past. We get a brood every year. One year when I was walking between the two pools. The mother, then several chicks and then the father walked right in front of me

Aw thanks, hopefully he'll feel better soon. He's had a lot of stress lately so I think he's a bit run down

My day was pretty busy, I bought half of matalan lol they had some great holiday clothes so I did it all in one go (I hate clothes shopping) Then I picked up the tickets and my currency! I can't believe it's actually happening
I also cheered up SIL who's fed up, a visit from bramble always works wonders. Then I had to do a walk in the rain..

Bramble is fine thank you she pooped a funky colour and then a normal one, so I'm assuming she did eat something nasty yesterday. She's eaten well today so she's clearly back to normal

Yes, son has a fish tank. His is a salt water tank and he has some beautiful fish.

I was getting 'Will Robinson' earlier. Apparently they have been messing again and more tomorrow from 7-10 pm too
