How's your pond & garden coming along?
Yogi, yay! I wasn't sure if today was a PB day so I'm glad it is. Have a lovely day with her
Hi Summer the pond is looking lovely and I should be able to get fish in about a week. The showers are working out perfectly for the newly planted plants, I have 2 more to go in, and another rhododendron on the way, I got carried away and decided to plant another one further along the slope too.
Yay I'd forgot it was a PB day, have a great time Yogi.
Some definitely ring a bell
I'm glad your plans are unfolding so nicely, thank goodness the rain showers are working in your favour I bet you can't wait to have some fish in the pond again
When we were busy talking we didn't notice bramble sneak off and found her in the room where 2 pet bunnies are kept! luckily they were safely locked in their cage so she couldn't get to them but it still scared the life out of me! She was aggressive towards them but she could easily have frightened them
I'm back from my two courses. The first one on tax was very useful as there have been many many changes. The second one on accounting was fairly interesting but nothing major which I wasn't already aware of. Little chance of anyone falling asleep during either course with the quantity of material covered.
I don't think many of the problems on squiggle's list are ones which ring a bell for me. At courses I attend, most of those attending stay silent while the person giving the course is talking, typical English reserve. One ot two people might ask a question or make a comment, but the only person who seems to always asks questions or comments (not excessively, but a couple of times a session) is me.
Good news Summer, always a relief I am glad the courses went well EL.
Yes, coffe or tea and a rather odd tasting biscuit. I thought it was chocolate from the colour but it wasn't.
That's a relief, I hope it wasn't too expensive.
Evening everyone.
I'm glad your car passed its MOT, Summer. My youngest son's car passed its MOT too.
El, I'm glad the courses were useful to you. Shame about the odd biscuit.
Had a nice day with PB and my youngest son. My eldest son and DiL call Harvey their Big Bubba, so now PB calls all dogs 'Bubba'.
Off for a soak in the bath, see you in a wee while.
Nice biccies, Summer.
I've had my bath and I'm lying on top of the bed. I think I might try for an early night too.
I'm always baking when I first get out of the bath! I was reading my book in there
Those biscuits look tasty- I'm calorie counting!
I tend to have the bath water pretty hot, so I'm always warm when I get out.
I hope it was a paper book and not a kindle or ipad book, in case you drop it into the bath.
Are you watching the calories before your holiday?
Got to go now. Goodnight and sweet dreams, Summer.
Yes lol it's a tatty paperback I bought off eBay for ÂĢ1, I would still be gutted if I drop it though. I dropped a magazine in once, what a mess!
So what else is new in PB world?
night yogi and summer - wasn't on last night - late choir practice with another choir - performing on the 17th may
Good morning everyone. It has been raining overnight, up here.
lol Summer, I wonder how you ended up with that girls' pics as your goodnight pic?
Summer, I think you are wise to make room for lots of ice cream, and lovely pasta too.
Ros, is it the performance of Mozart's Requiem on the 17th of May? I'm sure your choir will sound wonderful.
Squiggle, your slope is going to look beautiful with all your new plants. Did your grandson manage to rescue the sprinkler from the end of your hose yet?
Have a good day, everyone.
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here, some showers overnight, lots of rain forecast today.
Thanks, Summer, those biscuits are a lot nicer than the one I had at the course. I could have had a chocolate chip biscuit instead which would have been nicer.
Good morning everyone, very wet here, for once I am delighted because the garden is practically singing with joy. I find it so thrilling to see everything coming into flower and looking so good. No Yogi my sprinkler is still down there, getting rained on now Never mind my grandson will be over soon. The slope is definitely beginning to look a lot more like a garden and less like a poor bare patch. How are everyone's gardens looking? Ooh I ordered some long handled cutters which came and they are great. I have lilies in the pond and find it difficult to trim the foliage, the long handled cutters should be just the ticket.
Good idea Summer, you will be able to eat lots of delicious food without a care in the world. I think if I were ever to go on a cruise I should have to starve myself for a year before they serve so much food on those ships, unless of course the seas were stormy, I am not a good sailor.
Oh and my shoulder is completely back to normal
Enjoy your day everyone
Squiggle, I'm glad your shoulder is completely back to normal
Hi Moonie, I hope you are OK
See you soon.

lol at the sprinkler being sprinkled with rain.
Yay, that your shoulder is back to normal.
Just popping in to say hi
Back again soon
Good to have you back, Moonie. Hope you are well?
Very interesting news item about something which hopefully will be shown at the opening of the football World Cup next month:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/scie...environment-27316027
It has no connection at all with football.
A sunny start here but clouding over now, we're forecast rain for later
Squiggle I'm pleased to see your shoulder is back to normal
Mooooonie welcome back
Hi summer. I hope you are having a good day?
Off to catch up on some housework.
I'm having a lovely day thanks, this morning was very busy! Now it's calmed down but I've got a list of errands ticked off
The worst of today's rain here seems to be over though it's still very cloudy.
Tomorrow should be a bit better than today in my area but Saturday is wet.
Yogi, I hope your housework goes to plan.

A productive day.
Housework is done.

I got quite a lot done, thanks El.
I'm glad you got all your housework done Yogi, I'm almost finished mine with just about half an hour to finish off tomorrow. I've been waiting in all day for a parcel, still no show, although the website shows it's on the van, annoying
