I bought a soaker hose yesterday because I realise that the slope is going to be a bit impossible for me to water successfully if we get a dry summer and I don't want to lose my new plants.  I thought if I carefully lowered my sprinkler down there that would do the trick but it dropped off the end of the hose and is now marooned down there, typical!

My day has been good. My youngest son is at friends' in the village and is staying over with us, and middle son and Dil came for dinner tonight - and middle son washed my car for me.

I think whale's should really be in the ocean, but I know it's dangerous for them out there too
