Yes it is yogi I've got nervous energy, I can't wait to just do it now. I've been worrying about the terrain, my stamina etc and have just been made aware of the scenery- which I will enjoy greatly

Summer, that is a beautiful picture It is almost certainly from Japan rather than China as Japan is well known for cherry blossom. Tourists go to Japan during the cherry blossom season to see the blossom.

the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge has set up a webcam there. Monty and Christine are a couple of cranes and it is hoped that a chick (or two) may be hatched between the middle and the end of this month.

Fingers crossed that the cranes breed successfully.

I'm waiting for a delivery by Yodel. According to their tracking system, my parcel is on the van and should be delivered today, between the hours of 7am-9pm! Yodel are not known for their reliability, so fingers crossed it actually arrives today.

Yay, my parcel has arrived! Well done Yodel and the delivery driver was pleasant too.
