Now, just had a call from the council to say they have the part for my boiler and are coming to fix it tomorrow, between 8.00am and 4.00pm

Good news Yogi.  Although my tummy complaint, whatever it is, is in no way as severe as yours I find like you it is necessary to get just the right balance, and when you do you stick to it like glue.

I think you are absolutely right, Squiggle, balance is the key.

lol at those smileys.

It seems that trying to avoid the foods that can cause diarrhoea, can make things go too far the other way and cause a blockage, which is when I get the spasms and vomiting. I need to be careful when I introduce the previously banned foods, otherwise I'll be back to where I started - if you know what I mean?

That makes sense. It's a bit of a fine balancing act as to what and how much of the problematic foods you can eat.

 That's it, in a nutshell.

It's good to have a relaxing day now and then, it lets you recharge your batteries.

My day was okay, thanks. Hospital in the morning, some washing and housework in the afternoon and a quick visit from my eldest son this evening. He had been to the dentist to have the stitches removed (following the recent wisdom tooth extraction).

The problem was there wasn't room for the tooth to come through, so it was growing in sideways. They had to cut his gum to get it out and then stitch it up. I had to have the same thing done when I was 25 - no sedation for me though.

PB is coming tomorrow, for the afternoon. DiL is going to get her hair cut and coloured, so PB is staying with me.

She is being actively discouraged, so I don't think it will last long. Tbf, we think she is only biting because her gums are painful as her new teeth come through.

My mum's gold locket has had teeth prints on the back of it, for over 53 years.

They do.

She's having some vaccinations tomorrow morning, so she might be a bit off. However, if she is okay, we may go to buy the neon tetras for my fish tank. She loves doing her fish impression. It's slightly more ladylike than her piggy impression.

Are you enjoying the pics of Prince George? I love seeing them

I may have been responsible for the fish impression but she started doing the piggy one by herself.

I've loved the pics of Prince George. He's a big baby but William and Kate are tall and his build is similar to his dad's at the same age.
