Well, I hope all goes well at the vets and the opticians and then you get a chance to put your feet up and relax.

I'm going to do as little as possible,

Good thinking Yogi

I need matchsticks to keep my eyes open, so I better go now.

Goodnight and sweet dreams Summer and Moonie.

Sounds like a plan, hope all goes well at the vets (does Bramble get nervous?) and at the optician.

I've just coloured my hair, always nice to get that out of the way, we have blue sky and fluffy white clouds and as I am planning to stay in I needn't worry about the cold wind that's blowing.  If the wind would drop it would be very pleasant.

Have a great day everyone, I hope we all get to see a bit of moonie's sunshine.

I'm back from the vets, ugh what a frustrating experience!
I was seen 45 mins after my appointment time, with no apology.
Then I was asked if a student vet could do bramble's check up before a qualified vet saw her, which I'm fine with but we were left alone so long in the exam room that I had to play music on my phone to settle her.
She's fine in the waiting area but shakes like a leaf and tries to bury her head in me when she's on the exam table.
We pay a monthly fee for the VIP package, which automatically includes everything she needs- but I had to remind them to give her the kennel cough vaccine and ask twice for some flea treatments, but they didn't even look at or offer to clip her claws! She doesn't need her claws clipping but that's beyond the point.
While sitting in the waiting area I had to call my optician to let them know I wouldn't get to my appointment, luckily they were fine about it and offered me a cancellation slot later this afternoon, which I've taken.

I'm usually very patient but I was frustrated & annoyed today!
I'm now having a cuppa before I do some housework

Squiggle, I had to giggle at that multicoloured hair!
What colour do you usually go for?
~Sparkling Summer~

Hi Sweet
What on earth was the vets playing at? It's bad enough when poor Bramble has to go, knowing how much it upsets her, without being messed about by them. A disgrace no wonder you and she where upset

Is Bramble okay now?

I'm glad your optician was able to fit you in later I hope everything goes well for you

I had problems signing in to the site on my laptop. It kept telling me the password was wrong, even though it was right. Luckily, I was still signed in on my ipad, so here I am.

Moonie, I wondered why my ironing pile was so big!

lol @ the multicoloured hair pic.

Summer, what a frustrating morning for you. Lucky the opticians had a cancellation this afternoon.

My ironing is done and I've spent (what felt like) hours doing document shredding. I ought to shred more often, then I wouldn't end up with a massive load to do.

Summer, that's very poor of the vets. Must make you think about cancelling the VIP package and going to another vets, At least the opticians are giving a better quality service,

Drat, you changed your typo before I could quote you.

Sounds like time to change your vets Summer, maybe do some research and see if there is a more caring one  in your area.

I always stick to 9.3 light honey blonde by Belle Colour, it suits me.

So you aren't tempted by the multicoloured option?

I'm glad that worked It's worth remembering to try clearing the browser cache either if it gets full or you start getting odd problems such as not being able to log in. I have my broswer set to automatically clear evey time I close the browser. It might take fractionally longer to get onto websites but it's hardly noticeable.

I'll make sure I remember to clear it more often.

Bramble is absolutely fine thank you moonie, and I've calmed down a bit now. I get annoyed at being annoyed when I am annoyed, because I'm usually cheerful and that's how I prefer myself lol
I ploughed some energy into some housework

My vets are usually very good and I've heard some very negative things about other vets in the area so I think I'm best of staying where we are. But I do think this mornings customer service was terrible and if our next quarterly check up isn't a huge improvement, I will write them an email to let them know how the level of service has declined.

Moonie, will you have to get rid of some of your stuff now you've ventured into the shed?

Squiggle, 9.3 is a lovely colour I've used it among my highlights before and liked it. I'm currently messing around trying a lot of different ones, I think they look more natural that way

Are you going to throw away

Certainly worth passing on your experience of today's visit to the vets Summer so that they know if their standards are slipping.  I suppose we can all have an off day.

Me too, Squiggle.

Glad Bramble is okay and you have calmed down now too

When you say you got stuck into housework, did you beat the carpets?

Yep, stuff moved from one place to another but got rid of a lot of stuff too

I found jars full of Simpsons mini characters I collected from cornflake packets many many years ago too

I put a rather large shelf up for all my DIY tools too

I have the say the outhouse does looks much tidier now but the shed
