Sunny here this morning but forecast to become cloudy with rain by evening.

 

I've seen the Truman Show before and recorded it to watch yesterday. I agree that it's unique and is one of Jim Carrey's best films. The director Peter Weir has made some really good films over the years. He's Australian and made films such as Picnic at Hanging Rock there before moving to the States where he made films since including Witness, Dead Poets Society and Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World.

Interesting to see that when there were cogs earlier Summer's post was showing lots of code, I wonder if they are connected in some way.

 

My grandson's operation on his shoulder was due to take place today, day surgery, and I ran him in but they have sent him home again as he still has a lingering cough from that virus going around.  A bit of a set-back but I suppose if he has to have an anaesthetic tube down his throat it is too much of a risk, so anyway he has to go back to his GP

Squiggle, we have the same weather again I was puzzled by that coding in Summer's posting as well. I think it likely that either the cogs produced that coding shown in the posting or the coding produced the cogs.

Back again, got sidetracked by an early postal delivery, dealing with the garden waste wheelie, recycling boes and my washing.

 

Squiggle, like Yogi says I hope they can rescchedule your grandson's op fairly quickly. The surgery may have postponed the op as they wouldn't be wanting to operate if your grandson started coughing during the op as coughing does make the uppoer part of the body shake slightly including the shoulders. If you put one hand gently on the other shoulder, come gently, you will detect the shoulder move slightly.
