 I don't have a Kindle but I love my Kindle App.

I've got the kindle app but never use it- I really should! I hear the books are very cheap

Erm.. By the end of next week, I hope she is having puppies

 I've had quite a few bargain books for my Kindle App from Amazon. They always have free ones on the go too. It's worth a look.

 

Not long to wait to find out.

SIL says she's been buying them at 99p and just storing them until she gets to read them. She reads a lot though, easily 2 books per week

 I've bought a lot at 99p and some for less. Discovered a few new crime writers I like.

Good morning everyone. It was raining when I woke but is now dry and there is a little bit of blue sky.

Got some housework and ironing to do this morning and physio this afternoon.

I dispute the above recipe though mine is flour, eggs, milk and a bit of water. I don't measure any of it and I just feel how it's mixing and add more milk or water accordingly.

Summer, I would agree with you with the pancake recipe, why add baking soda?

I think that's for scotch pancakes rather than other pancakes though I may be wrong.

 

I agree, it seems to be the way to get thick and fluffy pancakes like the Americans like them but we want flat pancakes, well as flat as a pancake really

I like Scotch pancakes and crepe style pancakes too. 

When I was doing a spot of local shopping I teased someone I've known for years who goes to the same church as me as she was buying a couple of these:

Tomorrow is when Lent starts. She says that they were for her grandchildren, not for herself.

Scotch pancakes are acceptable but I do prefer the flat crepe style ones instead

I think I shall have maple syrup with my pancakes, after dinner tonight.

I've been to see the physio - the sun is shining but there's an icy, cold wind blowing. Brrr! Physio gave me another couple of exercises to add to my programme. She was very impressed that I was able to do the most difficult one. I don't have to go back unless things deteriorate but I do have to keep up with the exercise programme. I'm happy to continue with the exercises as they have made a real difference to my muscle strength and flexibility, in a relatively short period of time.

 

 

That's great yogi! well done you. I think a lot of people (me included) don't do their physio exercises as often as they should, which is mad because doing them really is the way to go
