I hope the shop assistant hasn't let it upset her.
Can you send me some of your sunshine please? It's still raining up here.

Squiggle, did you feel the minor earthquake in the Bristol Channel at 1 this afternoon? It was felt in Devon, Somerset and Swansea. The epicentre was between Ilfracome to the south and the Gower to the north.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-26277432
I never felt a thing EL and I'm only about a couple of miles from Ilfracombe.
I'm glad you weren't affected, Squiggle.
All sunshine gratefully received, Summer.
Squiggle, I'm glad you didn't experience the quake. In my area we do get minor earthquakes from time to time but nothing serious. I think I've mentioned before about the time over 20 years ago when I was having a coffee in my room at work talking with someone when there was a minor quake and we could feel the building slightly vibrating. The man I was talking with was a bit panicky and was dumbfounded that I was so calm about it.
I rang my daughter who lives in Ilfracombe, she had felt it but thought it was a big lorry going past, she is chuffed now. My grandson and me feel well left out as we felt nothing in our tiny village it was 4 and half on the Richter scale too.

Met Office has confirmed it's been the wettest winter on record:
http://www.itv.com/news/tyne-t...st-winter-on-record/
The figures are from 1 December to a couple of days ago. The Met Office winter season is 1 December to 28 February so the final figures will be higher.
Must be the least surprising news of the year.
One problem, my washing machine is a Miele and is the quietest machine I have ever known A good thought though

Get the grandsons to put on some loud rave music, that'll create some vibrations.
I have PB and Harv arriving early tomorrow, and they are staying overnight. So, if I am not around tomorrow, you'll know I have my hands full. Off to bed to get a good night's sleep in preparation!
Goodnight Summer, sweet dreams.
Hugs for Moonie and Ros.
Good morning, everyone. Still quite dark outside but weather seems wet and dismal.
Flying visit before PB and Harv's arrival. I will try and pop in whenever she is having a nap. If I don't appear, you'll know she's having one os her 'lively, and not sleeping' days.
Have a good day, everyone.
Good morning everyone
Likely to be a mix of sunshine and heavy showers here today.
Yogi, I hope you have a nice PB and Harvey day
I found this science article today on the BBC website and I know you will want to read it.
The first two lines read "Devoted dog owners often claim that their pets understand them. A new study suggests they could be right."

I can just echo your post EL, same weather conditions etc Yogi I hope you have a lovely lovely day filled with smiles and lots of toothy grins and chair dancing.
Have you checked your change to see if you've got a 2009 50p coin with an image of Kew Gardens on the back?
There were only 210,000 of these coins issued and they are worth a lot more than 50p. One is currently on ebay for ÂĢ100.
(I don't have one )
People have been getting emails like this:
"After the last yearly computations of your financial functioning we have defined that you have the right to obtain a tax rebate of 934.80. Please confirm the tax rebate claim and permit us have 6-9 days so that we execute it. A rebate can be postponed for a variety of reasons. For instance confirming unfounded data or applying not in time.
Regards, HM Revenue Service. We apologize for the inconvenience."
It is of course a scam but the grammar and use of words is poor to say the least. Also there is no such thing as HM Revenue Service. It's HM Revenue & Customs,
Good morning everyone
It's sunny here at present and the forecast is for a dry day.
Good morning everyone. Weather is wet and windy.
Busy day yesterday with PB, but lots of smiles and cuddles. She slept well last night - although I didn't, as I kept waking and checking on her.
Not sure when she is going home. Sometime this afternoon, I think.
I've previously had a tax refund scam email, El. I reported it to the link you gave me.
Will pop in tonight, have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone, I am glad you had a good day with PB Yogi, and that she slept well, all the better to keep granny on the hop today
Off to get my hair cut soon, I will remember to do a twirl when I get back, have a good day everyone.
Yogi, I'm glad you are having a good PB time
I remember now that you reported that tax refund scam email.
The link I gave you at that time is now obsolete and will go nowhere. You may want to make a note of this new link in case any of you want to report any future scam.

Squiggle, we look forward to your twirl
Back home again, does a little twirl hope everyone's weekend is going OK>

Your hair looks lovely, Squiggle.
El, I've bookmarked that link, thank you.
PB has gone home. The new house is lovely, although things are still at the chaotic stage. I thoroughly enjoyed having her, but don't be too shocked if I have an early night to recover.
Nice twirl, squiggle
Yogi, I'm glad you had a nice time with PB. I'll try not to be shocked if you have an early night
"Zombie Skins"!
Awwwww!
Squiggle, that is so cute! I can see PB and Harv in a similar scenario, in a year or two.

Just what I was thinking Yogi when my daughter was tiny it used to take ages to get to the shops if it had been raining, in her shiny red wellies every puddle had to be paddled in over and over.
