Squiggle, I'm glad you didn't experience the quake. In my area we do get minor earthquakes from time to time but nothing serious. I think I've mentioned before about the time over 20 years ago when I was having a coffee in my room at work talking with someone when there was a minor quake and we could feel the building slightly vibrating. The man I was talking with was a bit panicky and was dumbfounded that I was so calm about it.

One problem, my washing machine is a Miele and is the quietest machine I have ever known   A good thought though

Get the grandsons to put on some loud rave music, that'll create some vibrations.

Yogi, I hope you have a nice PB and Harvey day

I can just echo your post EL, same weather conditions etc   Yogi I hope you have a lovely lovely day filled with smiles and lots of toothy grins and chair dancing.

People have been getting emails like this:

"After the last yearly computations of your financial functioning we have defined that you have the right to obtain a tax rebate of 934.80. Please confirm the tax rebate claim and permit us have 6-9 days so that we execute it. A rebate can be postponed for a variety of reasons. For instance confirming unfounded data or applying not in time.

Regards, HM Revenue Service. We apologize for the inconvenience."

It is of course a scam but the grammar and use of words is poor to say the least. Also there is no such thing as HM Revenue Service. It's HM Revenue & Customs,

Good morning everyone. Weather is wet and windy.

Busy day yesterday with PB, but lots of smiles and cuddles. She slept well last night - although I didn't, as I kept waking and checking on her.

Not sure when she is going home. Sometime this afternoon, I think.

I've previously had a tax refund scam email, El. I reported it to the link you gave me.

Will pop in tonight, have a good day everyone.

 Your hair looks lovely, Squiggle.

El, I've bookmarked that link, thank you.

PB has gone home. The new house is lovely, although things are still at the chaotic stage. I thoroughly enjoyed having her, but don't be too shocked if I have an early night to recover.

Just what I was thinking Yogi when my daughter was tiny it used to take ages to get to the shops if it had been raining, in her shiny red wellies every puddle had to be paddled in over and over.

Happy days!
