Uh oh, it seems my phone charger is damaged, I've managed to get the phone to charge a bit but i dare not touch it while it charges, so I've come on to iPad. I may be slower but I'm still here.

I am terrible for sucking up phone charger cables with the hoover.

Im im just trying to think where I could get one without having to go to the apple store- surely any local phone shop will sell one?

 

 

 We now have four chargers between us, just in case I destroy another one. 

We have bought our replacements from Ebay, with no problems, and a lot cheaper than the Apple stores.

I was thinking online, but if mine is damaged I'll need one sooner. I think I should order a spare though good idea! 

 A spare is definitely a good idea - especially if you are a maniac with the hoover.

As far as I know, she is okay. Although I wouldn't be surprised if some more teeth were on the way. She had a wee red cheek on Saturday and her nappies were shockers which can be a sign of teething.

It's going to be a wet and windy day here and everywhere else.

 

Tonight's Midsomer Murders is the 100th episode and is the one which is partially set in Copenhagen and has a couple of actresses from The Killing and Borgen. Midsomer Murders is very popular in Denmark.

I loved Borgen and The Killing and I'm looking forward to tonight's Midsomer Murders. I'll probably record it and watch it later.

 

 

For those of you who watch Death in Paradise, I thought last night's episode was one of the better ones of this series and feel that Kris Marshall is settling in nicely. For those of you who don't watch it, it falls in the Father Brown/Murder She Wrote/Midsomers Murders (though with only 1 murder rather than a series of them) genre. It's set on a Caribbean island, hence the Paradise in the title.

 

Good morning everyone, same old weather here pouring rain and severe gales.  I am hoping I will get a little window in the weather later as I am going with my grandson to the dentist and have a couple of heavy things to pop in the car first and it's going to be awkward getting them up there if it's pouring and very windy.

Good morning we've had an inch of snow overnight but the roads are clear now.
I couldn't lay in because this afternoons forecast is rotten, so I've been grocery shopping already and seen about getting some new tyres for my car, I just have to pop down later to have them fitted.
I got a new cable for my phone charger at tesco's and it works too- phew!

Right, I'm going to walk bramble now while it's not raining, back shortly.

We may not have a red warning EL, but there is talk of gusts of 90mph and the wind is very fierce anyway, as it has been for days and days.

Here, the rain is heavy and there's another couple of hours before it starts to ease a bit. It's windy but in my area the warning is less severe with gusts up to around 50mph so nowhere near as bad as your area squiggle.

Heavy rain and gave force winds here. One refuse bin blew away. Just as I was about to go out an retrieve it a kind gentleman returned it for me. Thank you kind sir

Was going to the bank but it looks like that is off for the day.
