My son was good, thanks. He came up to wash his car, as he has no driveway at their current house. They will have one at their new house though, so no more car wash visits.

Have they been given a moving in date?

I used to Hoover my car at my Nan's while her hair was drying

He may turn up for occasional car wash visits, you never know

They move in later this month.

 

He'll still turn up for our garden centre visits.

He'll find other reasons to come over even if he's not washing the car, boys like going back to their mum's

Hubby calls ours the Boomerang Boys, as they keep coming back.

Good morning everyone

 

It's raining here, and the forecast for most of the rest of the week is bad. Properties by the river will get flooded and the situation is getting towards a repeat of the July 2007 local flooding. The flood defences are better than they were then and they will need to be otherwise water and electicity supplies would be at serious risk.

 

Good morning everyone. We have a thin layer of snow. It seems quite wet, so I don't think we will be building any of these.

Don't worry, Moonie, I nodded off myself and forgot to leave you a goodnight hug.

El, I hope those defences hold up and the water and electricity supplies aren't affected.

Babies, of whatever species, share certain similarities don't they?

 

It looks as if the worst of the rain here is over now and there's a bit of watery blue sky. More rain forecast for overnight into tomorrow with strong winds. It's the weekend which is most concerning as there's another lot of rain on Friday into Saturday and there's the next lot of spring tides.

We have blue skies here now too, thank goodness, it lifts your spirits.  I am puzzled EL, I thought the spring tides were controlled by the new moon?  Why would we have another lot now so soon after the last lot, which were only a week away?
