Summer, I hope your prawn jalfrezi has killed off your bug. My experience of prawn oe chicken jalfrezis is that they vary from being quite hot to very hot so I'm not suprised that you found it hotter than you were expecting.

El, jalfrezi's really do seem to very greatly in heat don't they! I was quite proud of myself for eating the whole plateful but I did have a helping of mango chutney on the side so I think that's how I managed it.
At first I thought "oh look there's fine green beans in this curry, strange but yummy" good job I realised they were actually green chilli's!

Summer, it must be the jalfrezi which killed the bug, and yes, there is a difference between fine green beans and green chillis as you have found out Did you see that scene a few days ago in Death in Paradise when Kris Marshall chews and swallows a red hot chilli and then proceeds to down a gallon of milk to try and ease the pain

 

So far this morning it's been quite sunny though windy and no showers chasing after me
