For several weeks a giraffe has taken up residence in the vicar's vestry at out church. It crept in some time ago and went on to the vestments chest where the vicar had all her robes for services. It's very small, only about 6 inches tall, is very well behaved and doesn't get in anyone's way.
I did suggest to the vicar that the giraffe could join the camels for the nativity crib but the giraffe was too shy to want to appear in public. So the giraffe remains in the vestry until the owner comes forward to reclaim it.
