Squiggle, I agree with you, I think my client's spinal injury is serious though it's not as serious as becoming unable to walk again.

And my other client, the one with the ankle problem, he's still waiting for the main operation so he's not going to be able to get back to work before April at the rate things are going.

El Loro

I see that we have done it and we are on page 1000

My next post is one of those specials. It's similar to the one I did when we got to page 250 and uses the same music as before though the graphics part is different as the previous one has been made unavailable.

So apologies to anyone who is startled when they come on to this page.

Also, it's best not to quote my next post, the one with the graphics display as then we would get the music playing in two posts at the same time which would make a racket.

Hi Summer. It was good - so long as we ignore PB's projectile vomiting in the car, just as we arrived back home from a trip out. She managed to cover herself - coat, hat, top, trousers, vest, car seat and hubby's jacket which was on the back seat beside her. Good job it happened as we arrived home and not while we were out. She isn't really poorly, she just has a cold and it was catarrh which made her sick. She was absolutely fine afterwards, and singing (whale song stylee) and dancing quite happily.

I see you have been active, well done on your 10 mile walk.

What music does she like?

I've just noticed our boiler has completely switched itself off, and mr summer isn't home! I dare not touch it, he should be back shortly.

Guess who had to do all the cleaning up? Hubby took to the hills.

She like any kind of music, from the musical toys we have for her, to Snowpatrol on son's iPhone, to the musical intro to the weather on the ITV news. She jigs along to everything.

Oh no, I hate when the boiler plays up. Is Mr Summer good with things like that?

As you know, Mr Yogi is not good with anything mechanical, so we tend to phone middle son and he either speaks to one of his gas engineers or gets them to come out and fix it for us. I hope Mr Summer can sort yours for you.

Aw PB must be a happy little bunny! And was Harvey happy today?

Fingers crossed it's a pressure issue.

She really is a happy wee soul. Harv was quite happy and chilled. He even let PB pull his chops and whiskers and all he did to retaliate was give her a lick.

Does Keira like PB too?

So what's the plan for tomorrow? An easier day?

Keira does like her and is very gentle with her. Both dogs are careful not to step on her or knock into her when PB is playing on the floor. So far, they are all getting on brilliantly.

I have a nurse's appointment in the morning, then the weekly grocery shopping and some banking. Then chill out, I hope.

Are you back at work tomorrow?

Aww, that's brilliant and will be good company for Bramble too.

Sweet dreams

Hope you enjoyed the final, I saw most of it

A rocking lamb sounds like fun! Has she seen it yet?

Aw, I hope your boiler is sorted now

The CBB final was good - I'm happy with the result.

PB has been on the rocking lamb and likes it.

Good morning everyone. Weather is dry but overcast.

Out and about this morning but I'll be back later.

Have a good day, everyone.

Good morning everyone

Thick cloud here today so cold out there. There may be drizzle during the day. Tomorrow is forecast to start dry but then rain for the rest of the day. It's just as well that the armed forces have been called in to help people in the Somerset levels as it looks as if the wet weather will continue throughout February. It's to do with the Gulf Stream being much stronger than normal so making the weather come from the Atlantic.

Summer, I hope your boiler has been sorted out by now, or, if not, very soon

As you know I don't watch CBB but as I was switching channels I saw about 5 seconds of it which just happened to be the 5 seconds when the winner was announced.

Good morning cold & grey here today.

I've been very lucky this morning;
The gas engineer rang at 8am and is local, so I was first on his list it needed a new circuit board and a fuse replacing, and was fixed & fully serviced right away, which led me to get to work by 10am! The homecare insurance covered all costs, saving me a bill of approx ÂĢ350 today.
What a very quick boiler drama

Boiler fixed and no bill to pay sounds like the best possible outcome.

How lovely, I get a picture in my mind of her when you describe her beaming smile, little sweetheart   Did the visit with your nurse go OK?

A very different protest EL, I enjoyed that, thank you.

Yes, the nurse visit was fine, bloods and other check ups done.

I'm glad   I heard the silliest thing today.  Do you remember my friend who had bariatric surgery?  She has lost so much weight that she is no longer diabetic but there is no possibility of being de-classified as diabetic so even though her blood levels are completely normal she still has to have diabetic reviews and eye tests.  Crazy isn't it?

That is completely bonkers!

I'm glad her weight loss had had such a beneficial effect though.

You have a PM
