these are benefits doctors, they are not allowed to actually touch yo just in case you do have an actual problem, and they do something that does injury.

unfortunately while 99% of the people that go for these interviews with these doctors, they still will say a severly disabled person is fit to work, they do not pass anyone!!
you then have to dispute that doctors findings, and prove your case at a tribunal, which a very small % get re-awarded their benefits, because they have proved that they are really in fact are ill.

trust me, i have been down that road, it was a nightmare for me.

The boy actually said no doctor in the UK could touch him... he had to go back to turkey for treatment. If his back was causing him that much pain i would assume that he would be visiting his doctor to try and get as much help with the pain as he could.

I understand about the benefits doctor but i don't think he helped himself when he said that

That's the problem. There are many genuine people but the scammers make it hard for everyone and everyone is tarred with the same brush Nod

funny how that boy said that, he had the operation in Turkey, i lived there for 7 years, i went as a last ditch attempt before i got way too ill and ended up housebound, i had to come home will be 2 years this september, i had an operation in Turkey, by a very well known neurosurgeon, he devised the titanium and everything that i had the operation for in my neck.
there is nothing wrong with the operation, unfortunately for me, it was only to stabalize, what was wrong, i broke my neck in 2 places in a car crash some years ago, long story ... but the op was not a cure.
the doctors in this country have no problem treating me, so i do not understand that boys claims, it is total rubbish!! in fact the professor in Turkey that did the operation has no problem liasing with the doctors here about me.

yes that is how i was made to feel, while i was at the tribunal waiting to go in, there was two people there for the same, who were very obvious to me and my friend as pulling a fast one, i was soo angry!!

i was only asked on e question by the chairman of the tribunal, he had read all my report, he told me he could not understand why i was refused, and he awarded me back everything, and back dated it!!

he also wished me well, even though he could see i was in deep trouble.

Red Face hat is shocking... 57 is not over the hill and how much experience can he offer in his field

he obviously wants to get out to work but is just looking for a bit of assistance and her attitude to him IMO was disgusting

That's what I didn't like about the jobcentre either. I worked solid for the same company for 30 years untill I was made redundant in 2007 and they chase me to get a job! there were/are peeps that they should've been chasing much more than me Mad

i know Yogi, i know soo many epeople that are pulling a fast one, even before i went for my tribunal a 'friend' of mine, told me that she tried to get her OH on disability, and was refused, i said to her, and so he should be, there is nothing wrong with him!! pft she also, told me that 4 other of her friends had still been refused at the tribunal.
and you know what she said to me the morning i went to my tribunal? that if i get it awarded back, not to call and tell her cos she does not want to know, i said, well thats because you know for a fact i am ill!!! i know they will not refuse so i will say goodbye now!!
that was the last time i spoke to her.

the thing is Onetoo, they saw you as an easy target, they always go for the easy one's cos they wear themselves out trying to get these shirkers, that have no intention of working for the life a job!
also it comes down to their targets as you have just heard!

see also, that boy on there has been refused, he has not said he will dispute it, so make me think worse of him, also what i forgot to say is, in Turkey they give you ALL your medical records, scans, x-rays, reports EVERYTHING! so why could he not produce them??

he could have brought them back to this country and given them to his GP or local hospital, like i did!

I'm sure many people who aren't able to work would love to work.

Yogi, i did interior design, how do you think i feel now? i dont go out anymore, i am practically housebound, in 2 years i have tried to come to terms with it all, and it is very hard.
before my life was full, i did what i wanted, went where i wanted, i'm not even allowed to drive anymore.
