these are benefits doctors, they are not allowed to actually touch yo just in case you do have an actual problem, and they do something that does injury.
unfortunately while 99% of the people that go for these interviews with these doctors, they still will say a severly disabled person is fit to work, they do not pass anyone!!
you then have to dispute that doctors findings, and prove your case at a tribunal, which a very small % get re-awarded their benefits, because they have proved that they are really in fact are ill.
trust me, i have been down that road, it was a nightmare for me.

The boy actually said no doctor in the UK could touch him... he had to go back to turkey for treatment. If his back was causing him that much pain i would assume that he would be visiting his doctor to try and get as much help with the pain as he could.
I understand about the benefits doctor but i don't think he helped himself when he said that

That's the problem. There are many genuine people but the scammers make it hard for everyone and everyone is tarred with the same brush

he obviously wants to get out to work but is just looking for a bit of assistance and her attitude to him IMO was disgusting

That's what I didn't like about the jobcentre either. I worked solid for the same company for 30 years untill I was made redundant in 2007 and they chase me to get a job! there were/are peeps that they should've been chasing much more than me

i am lucky enough to have never been in that situation so have no comprehension (sp..brain hurts) of what it would be like, but i know how bored i get after a few weeks off so i find it difficult to understand why anyone who was able to work would choose not to. I'm sure many people who aren't able to work would love to work.
