I am with you Mrs H,mostly by a process of eliminating others who i found annoying,hope he dosn't turn out to be a real buffoon when we start seeing a bit more of him.Just finding them all annoying is making it quite interesting at the moment at least it's not boring.

He's flying under the radar, is clearly rather arrogant and superior, but, from what we know, has the ability to 'befriend' the kids, (one of his reasons for dismissal as a teacher was that he set up a fb ac in a different name to 'inappropriately' communicate with students, given that the school policy was to not befriend/chat with pupils on social media sites etc.)
