I guess you'd have to be a millionairre in order to have the space to privately display an 'ornament' of that magnitude
I suspect though that a museum or such like will purchase it...

I agree that it's likely to be bought by a museum or by someone who would loan it to a museum so that it can be seen by all

Slim, little new of interest on the Talking Pictures tv channel. On Friday there's a British film called "Bob's our Uncle" (1942) at 6 in the morning. Low budget broad comedy with no one well known in the cast. Only minor point of interest is that it's about the Home Guard.

The actor William Russell has died, he was 99. A bit surprising that the BBC don't seem to mention this on their website.
He was the first male companion in Doctor Who back in 1963 (Ian Chesterton, the school teacher):
