Slim, a couple of films on the Talking Pictures tv channel over the coming week to mention.
Thursday afternoon a British film called "Snowbound" (1948). A group of people searching for treasure (after the end of WW2) hidden in the Alps by the Nazis. Based on the Hammond Innes novel "The Lonely Skier". Moderately exciting, some violence near the end. Dennis Price, Robert Newton, Stanley Holloway and Herbert Lom in the film.
Friday later afternoon a British comedy drama called "Conflict of Wings" (1954) about a piece of land which is a bird sanctuary but the RAF want the land to use as a ground attack firing squad. John Gregson and Muriel Pavlow the leads.
Not a recommendation regarding something called "The Best of Benny Hill" that channel will be showing. I've no intention of watching that.
