Finlandia has been used in tv series often over the years. Apparently it was used in a number of The Smurf cartoons back in the early 1980s
Another piece of music by Sibelius known as "At the Castle Gate" from his "Pelleas and Melisande" is famous as being used for "The Sky at Night" BBC series:
