Slim, little new of note on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week. There's a minor British 1952 comedy called "Come Back Peter" on Wednesday morning. It's about relatives causing chaos when they come to stay. Doesn't seem to be much good but is at least light hearted.

It was a sequel to a 1948 film called "Fly Away Peter". So the titles would be referring to the nursery rhyme.

And is the introductory piece of music to 'Fly Away Peter'
The full film is on you tube
Might be worth watching it prior to the sequel

Thankyou El

Talking Pictures arranging through Tripsmiths a week's holiday next May for film fans. Noel Cronin, the founder, will be there as will Caroline Munro, the actress, who is the regular presenter of the late evening horror films on that channel.
As the holiday is in Malta, may be of interest to Velvet,

Good morning everyone

Weather here a repeat of the last few days though the BBC forecast for tomorrow has some sunshine whereas the Met Office doesn't.

I hope everyone has a good day

Dull as dishwater here El ...
it must have rained at some point though cos the ground is wet, but nothing significant...unlike Spain

Take care folks

My brother told me on Saturday that a couple he knows had been on holiday in Valencia and had just returned home before the catastrophic floods last Tuesday

That was very fortunate for them El..

I saw on the news that the townsfolk were throwing mud at the King & Queen as a protest for not being warned in time of the rain forecast..

It still looks the same here as it did when I posted last El...
Hasn't stopped the bliddy seagulls from sounding off though...unfortunately

The Met Office forecast is more accurate, Slim I had popped out and it's more gloomy then is has been.
Here's a fairly well known extract from Wagner's "GotterdÃĪmmerung" :

DÃĪmmerung is German for twilight
