Met Office has a rain warning for most of the western side of the country from the south up to the Manchester area starting from 6pm until noon tomorrow. They don't mention that although there may be a pause in the rain, there's more heavy rain starting a few hours later for the rest of Wednesday until Thursday morning.

Very low cloud here, rain overnight, heavy rain for a while this morning, stops for a time then very heavy rain sets in for several hours here. The current rain warning ends at noon but I expect the Met Office to issue a new warning.

We have a yellow warning for here El, with the possibility of some thunder....no thunder as yet, but plenty of rain has fallen throughout the night and doesn't look like stopping any time soon.

As I was expecting, Slim, the Met Office has now extended their warning until 9pm this evening

And today's scam phone call I had was the road accident one.
