Well done Joe Root on becoming England's highest Test match run-scorer of all time, passing Alastair Cook's record during this morning. He's now 5th on the list of all highest Test match scorers of all time.
Obviously it depends as to how long he continues to play Test matches. He could one day pass the batters in 2nd to 4th places but not Sachin Tendulker in 1st place unless he continues for several years.

Winter is totally depressing. No light.

Anyone looking at the BBC weather app at present will have noticed that the gust speeds shown are at extremely high levels such as 5000 mph and that it's mentioning hurricane winds for today and tomorrow, BBC has confirmed that there's a glitch which is being dealt with - so don't panic

It's quite possible that some time the ICC would start prosecutions against all those on all sides involved, Velvet It's the ICC who could do that, the ICJ can't do that against individuals.
