"Sister Boniface Mysteries" starts on Friday at 1pm on BBC One from the beginning of the first series. First 3 series already shown on the UDrama channel. Spin off from "Father Brown" though set in the 1960s rather than the 1950s.

I've just seen that Jude Tindall died yesterday
She was the creator of the series "Sister Boniface Mysteries" and also "Shakespeare & Hathaway" and wrote some of the episodes. Also wrote some of the episodes of "Father Brown".

The year someone was born

My mum spent all her teenage years at war.  Beat that. She saw Mishers in formation over Carntyne heading for Fluffy's parents - Clydebank. I miss Fluffs - she is a neighbour.

Take it easy troops

Much the same as my mother, Velvet. She was in the ATS not that she ever met Princess Elizabeth as she was then,
