Hope you're well El and Buddies

Don't talk to me about summer and weather and I like daylight and hate dreary dark winter

Totally robbed this year - like last. I'm writing in to Ian McCaskill through my medium.

Take it easy over the weekend and football is totally over-rated. I used to like it - not now. Overpaid joke it is.

I see on the BBFC site that "Batman Forever" (1995) and "Batman & Robin" (1997) are getting another release in cinemas.

I had the misfortune to see "Batman & Robin" in the cinema when it was first released. The film was so bad that no further Batman films were made for 8 years.
imdb rating 3.8
Rotten Tomatoes ratings critics - 12%, public 16%

I've never had a scone with jam or a scone with cream or a scone with jam and cream

When I was a child, on a Sunday my father would bake some scones and in the afternoon we would go to the park and eat them there. Fruit scones (raisins/sultanas). They were far better than any other scones I've ever had. Years later I asked him for his recipe but he couldn't remember it,

Oh El! that's shocking...you've never had a Devonshire Cream Tea

A fruit or plain scone (I prefer plain) with a generous spreading of a pure fruit jam and a healthy dollop of clotted cream

You have to try one

Slim, I haven't seen anything new on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week which is likely to appeal to you

BBC Two showing "Strangers on a Train" at 12.20 (1951) today though you've seen it before.

And 'Psycho' is on at 10 this evening, also on BBC2

What's with all the Hitchcock films on atm El...is it an anniversary or something?

Thanks for looking El

It's because Hitchcock would have been 125 a few days ago,
I didn't mention Psycho as the BBC often show it (last time was last September) whereas they hadn't shown "Strangers on a Train" since 2008.

I have both films in my You Tube Library, which means, I can watch either whenever I like
I've quite few Hitchcock films...

Do you have his "The Mountain Eagle" (1926) ?
Very unlikely as it's the one lost Hitchcock film
The British Film Institute would be very interested. It is right at the top of their Most Wanted list.
