Good morning everyone
Rather cloudy here though the sun is trying to break through.
I hope everyone has a good day
Slim, little to mention about film on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week. On Thursday at 22.05 there's "A Month of Sundays" (1989) which is an American TV movie which was called "Age Old Friends" there. Drama with some humour about life in a retirement home. Starred Hume Cronyn and as his friend Vincent Gardenia whose memory is getting worse. Also in the cast is Tandy Cronyn, daughter of Hume and his wife Jessica Tandy.
It was written by Bob Larbey who was best known for his series "The Good Life", "A Fine Romance", "Ever Decreasing Circles" and "As Time Goes By".
Good morning Buddies
Overcast and quite cool here.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone

Good morning everyone
A rather cloudy day here, forecast to rain tonight.
I hope everyone has a good day
Slim, I didn't mention to you that the Talking Picture tv channel is showing "Doctor in the House" (1954) on Thursday morning, the first and best of that series as I assume that you've seen it before. Besides Dirk Bogarde and James Robertson Justice, it's also has Kenneth More.
Good morning Buddies
Mostly overcast here. Not very warm either.
Enjoy your day everyone

Wow!
That must have taken ages to set up...and plenty of skill to execute it so precisely

I noticed on the BBFC site that a few days ago they classified a couple of old silent films, one from 1926 and one from 1928. They're not films I've heard of and would be of little interest.
Then yesterday I noticed that the BBFC had classified a film called "The Man with a Thousand Faces". The title intrigued me so I checked it out. Turns out to be a French documentary about a conman romancing and "marrying" women around the world.
So it's nothing to do with the silent film actor Lon Chaney, who was famous for his ability to transform himself into characters, the best known being the silent film versions of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and "The Phantom of the Opera". He was known as "The Man of a Thousand Faces". James Cagney made a biopic about him with that title.

There was a bot of rain here this morning, dry at present, more rain forecast until tonight but may not get a lot.
May be another mini heatwave for Sunday and Monday but just those two days.

Yeah, I hope so too El
I see that there's a film due to be re-released in cinemas on 1 November.
Film's title is that of the key character whose first appearance in the film by her is one of the most famous in film.
